His & Her GNOMES for the 4th of July! Patriotic (Independence Day DIY) Hacks

I had so much fun making these patriotic gnome projects for the 4th of July. Nothing says fun more than gnomes.
First decoration for Independence Day is a set of his and her patriotic gnomes made out of socks. Yep, socks! I used this patriotic set that I found at Target, but any patriotic socks you can find will do. These were perfect because they were two different patterns, stars and stripes. I used a mop head from the dollar tree for hair and that famous beard.
Next up, I use this patriotic gnome yard stake from the Dollar Tree to create a set of 4th of July signs. It looks like the gnome is singing America the Beautiful. So I give him some lyrics using vinyl and my Cricut.
Finally, I use these blank coasters from the Dollar Spot at Target to make some patriotic gnome coasters. I used the print and cut feature on my Cricut, but you can always cut them out yourself. That and mod podge. Easy Peasy!

You must know I am loving gnomes. Your little couple turned out so cute. On the second project, have you thought about using hinges. They can be glued on instead of nailed. I’ve done it I would maybe put music notes stickers by his face or by the lyrics.
