    I can relate about “waiting for science to catch up” - my specific gene mutation is usually associated with something pretty different than the symptoms I have. I’m able to get the care I need thankfully, and I still wish that someone could explain WHY this is happening to me.

      I feel like there’s so much pressure to have a diagnosis and stick by that diagnosis and the reality is our experience more often then we’d like to think. Technology makes it so that people who we don’t know what’s going on can live while we wait for science.
