almost everyone in the arena was screaming and cheering for Haiti during this moment. she was the real favourite that time because of her answer. being the 1st runner up was the farthest place that Haiti has been in Miss U.

Objectively, Iris gave the best answer but her translator did a bad job by saying something wrong (he said « casting » instead of « medical school »). But Mickey Boardman (one of the judges) speaks french and knew that Iris’ statement was misinterpreted by her translator. Solenn and Erwan Heussaff where among those who pointed out the mistake on social media. BTW ! Yes Haiti did a fabulous job. Iris was Pia´s favorite..so happy that France took the crown for the second time.

Except France never spoke about a casting or being in a book! The translator made a huge mistake! She talked about her Med School exam that she thought she had failed and that she bought a medical book on the very same day to work even harder!
