Making Red Oak Dining Table // Folding Table // Woodworking

- Recently I finished working on this folding red oak dining table and in this video I want to share with you the process of making it.
As I mentioned above, the table is made of red oak and covered with acrylic wear-resistant varnish. The biggest difficulty for me was shaping the legs as well as the folding mechanism, which allows you to increase the length of the table to 2100 mm in the unfolded form.
The disadvantage of this table is the lack of rods (for maintain equality)in the tabletop, which I plan to install already after the publication of the video (which, of course, is not a good idea, since the table is already varnished)

The build is gorgeous and i love that middle section. Very cool design to have it slide up. Did you happen to make thise chairs as well? If so, is there or will there be a video on them?
unfortunately I did not film the process of making these chairs, but I will make a few more to make a video

I don't think this is my design as the client came with a picture of what they wanted and we only made minor changes to make it foldable.
