Hell yes, Jack should be the manager.
A few things I learned to do regarding customers asking for information.
1. If someone asks for an employee and they’re not in, and a then follow with “Do you know when they’ll be in next?” I respond with no. Then The next time I see that coworker I let them know and if it’s someone they know, they tell me. It’s better safe than sorry.
2. Never tell a customer your schedule. If they ask when you’re off just say “oh idk, some times they keep me here later so I never really know.” If they push it, then you keep pushing your own point. Same if they ask about coworker.
I hope this information can help someone, especially young kids going into their first jobs.
1. You never tell your schedules
2. You never give/confirm names
3. Never leave alone if you're worried
4. Always notify management/coworkers/customers
You'd be amazed at how many of us just craving a breakfast sandwich will stay with you if you're scared. I've been awake twenty hours, sweetie, I will throw down in your honor for another ten minutes.

Some of them get super angry when you refuse. One old black man is there asking for rides all the time, and as most strangers say no, he screams and swears at them. Its nuts. Hes cursed me several times.

Oh I don’t deal with stuff like that. I will have the customer leave either willingly or with the police because I’ve had similar situations. I’d be happy to give them a refund and remove them from the premises and if they cause more issue I’ll ban them.

i work at mcdonald's and this one guy, about 60, asked me my pant size and i told my manager what happened. then i proceeded to clean the lobby and my manager called me inside and told me the guy has been staring at me very creepily all this time. she told me "if he says anything weird to you, go ahead and slap him. hard. i will remove the camera footage".

Many people buy coffee so they have a place to stay (warmth, free wifi, etc). Please tip well when buying just coffee (it's should be a crime that waiters live off just tips).

Number 3 is exactly like the experience my ex-best friend and I had at McDonalds. there was a man behind us (this was pre-covid so you could sit and eat inside) at a table and we were trying to eat but the man was unnerving my friend and I tried ignoring it but he started freaking me out too because he was talking to himself rather very angrily. we ended up getting our food to go and we left. it was pretty creepy.
