- Silverback gorilla Haoko was eating carrots for breakfast.
Not only Haoko but a lot of gorillas love carrots.
Haoko is a giant silverback who weighs about 236kg(520 lb).
His baby Sumomo turned 2 years old on May 31, 2024.
She is still tiny. She plays and eats a lot and has grown so fast.
Sumomo is fluffy like her father Haoko.
THE HAOKO TROOP CONSISTS
Haoko: Silverback born on August 21, 1993.
Momoko: Female born on June 3, 1983.
Toto: Female born in 1978.
Komomo: Female born on November 14, 2009.
Momoka: Female born on April 24, 2013.
Riki: Male born on October 9, 2017.
Sumomo: Baby female born on May 31, 2022.

上野動物園のシルバーバックゴリラのハオコが朝ごはんにニンジンを食べていました。
ハオコはよくニンジンを食べ、ハオコだけでなく多くのゴリラがニンジン好きです。
ハオコはシルバーバックの中でも身体が大きく、体重は約236kgもあります。
ハオコには子どもが４頭いますが、その中で一番幼いスモモは2024年5月31日に2歳の誕生日を迎えました。
スモモはまだ小さいですが、よく遊んで食べてすくすく育っています。
ハオコの遺伝なのか、スモモは体毛がフサフサです🦍🦍

Shabani and Haoko are biological brothers. Haoko is older by two years. I just learned that!! Both are playful...have a sense of humor and love chasing around ❤
😲 Haoko weighs 520 pounds?! A couple weeks ago he weighed 496 pounds. Boy he's gained some mass. He's my big ol' teddy bear handsome 😍hunky fella.
If I watch Rikki I see a lot of Momotaro’s facial expressions and also similarities in the way they move around

Haoko is massive, I haven’t seen a bigger western lowland gorilla in captivity yet
Don't know how much he weighs but D'Jeeco the silverback at the Taipei zoo in Taiwan is also pretty big 😀
I can only imagine how big Riki is going to be!
@@josieh5361 Djeeco is 160 kilos. Haoko is almost 1,5x his size.
@@MySkinnydipI know.. he’s close to the same age as Kintaro and look how much bigger he is. Djeeco is a big silverback as well.

Haoko and Shabani look a LOT like their father Kibabu. If you goggle his name there are some pictures of him. Kibabu's mom was named "Baby Doll" and his dad was named "Kisoro". Kibabu was a massive silverback 😆 who loved 🥕 carrots, and loved to sit and watch zoo goers. He was an excellent father, and sired 18 children! I also follow some of Haoko's and Shabani's brothers and sisters:

They were gorgeous little boys who have grown into impressive, majestically, magnificent, beautiful Silverbacks. Taronga certainly has missed them all 🙁🙁💚💛
