Congratulations to Br. Roch Mary, Br. Diego Jose, Br. Tansi Mary, Br. Timothy Pio, Br. John Baptist, Br Miguel Pro, and Br Innocent Mariae
I can't wait for my turn!
To all of you who watch this video and you hear the sweet voice of the Lord, who whispers in your ear : do not be afraid, follow Him ! Immediately !
I was a coward and a wimp and now I suffer every day the torment in my soul : because the Lord has passed and I have not followed Him, He called me, but I was distracted and light, out of myself........ and now I shelter to my mistake with tears of sorrow and regret.
Lord, my soul is restless, and i find peace only if i rest in You (Sant'Agostino di Ippona)
Fratelli, fino ad ora abbiamo combinato ben poco, cominciamo ad amare il Signore !
(Transito di San Francesco d'Assisi)
Many thanks !

Lord willing, one day I will be joining this community of brothers and priests.
This, honestly, brought me to tears. Because I am one of those whom are desperately wants to consecrate my entire being to God. What holds me back is my orientation, financial instability in the home. And some scruples, should I enter in religious life. But this video clip alone had wrung my heart.
I'm calling the vocations director this Monday, I have always loved this order, Father Groschel is just one reason. I have loved the spirituality of Saint Francis, and have felt the desire to enter the Order, and the CFR's is where I would best fit in.
May the good Lord Jesus help them in their vocation amidst the world full of evil.Amen
waste no time and let nothing stop you Menechem. May the good work that He's began in you be brought to fulfillment.
Pray for vocations. Congrats brothers! Pax†
Blessed. God with you all.
💖
GOD bless... Thank
the CFR sisters, you and I will probably be working together one day then...
We are all humans that wear clothing. there are many similarities in cloth and design, but so what? The real differences are in the actions. Jesus said the world would know we are His disciples by the way we loved one another......a story about St Francis says that when he and his friars were entering a village, he instructed them, "Preach the Gospel...use words if you have to." I see the Gospel of love in this video!!!
Look alike. maybe.....but these men are true followers of Jesus Christ.
@foster21 try the Franciscans of the Immaculate. I joined them about 10 months ago. We are missionaries in the strictest sense of teh word. We work along side Mary as her absolute property, her slaves to promote the Gospel of Jesus to the farthest corners of the earth.
I found Fr. Terry :)
conflagrations my brothers :) viva cristo rey !
Wowl....I had to research your original comment because it received so many "thumbs down".
What was the intent of your "observation"?
that is the more prudent thing to do. free your debts up and then you can take the habit. do you have any idea which order you would join?
Does anyone have the lyrics and chords to this song?
as far as roaming and a serious vow of poverty? Missionaris of Charity for sure. The CFRs pretty much stay put where they are, the MCs roam the world. You could be sent to Africa, India, S. America etc.
Since when have you have ever seen Muslims wearing the habit of a friar, and rosary beads?
Mebracie boucoupe
I have never seen on Muslim wearing beads with a crucifix on it. Have you?
They are not Muslims. Catholic religious Brothers/Friars.
To say that x looks like y doesn't mean that both x and y are identical. Therefore the fact that the Franciscan Friars wear crucifixes and Muslims don't doesn't mean that they don't like similar.
0:41 ¿Kiss or not?
Kisses the ring on the Bishop's hand. A sign of respect for his authority.
So what? I am not sure what that has to do with my observation?
There is no guarantee that you are a follower of Christ just because you wear a habit and do social work. And I am sure that the Friars would agree. You can never really tell from behaviour.
I have seen lots of Muslims wearing a Moroccan Zaytuna (which looks just like their habit) and clicking Tasbih (which looks just like their rosary) and of course Muslims tend to have beards as well.
Its quite amusing because they all look like Muslims
