In '77 we'vs had that experience in saudi arabia.we celebrate holy mass in gymnasiums. But later, the situation relaxed a little bit. A lot of muslims have converted to Christianity. Praise the Lord.

in 2011 my 2nd daughter succumbed to cancer, a priest classmate after giving the last rites to my daughter asked me to sing this hymn, a hymn we sang as seminarians before going to bed, it really helped me get over the loss that day. I still sing it by myself before going to bed

Es precesimante que el canto gregoriano en latín es lo más bello y más apropiado para la liturgia, nada de guitarras y baterías estrenduosas. Todo tiene un fin y el modernizar la liturgia lo que hizo fue un declive de la fe.

Yes, it is beautiful. It's sung at the end of Adoration/Liturgy of the Hours and Benediction every Saturday at the Cathedral Basilica in St. Louis Missouri.(3:30 - 4:30). It is a peaceful moving in to the hour.

I just recently began the catechism to join the Catholic Church, I am a life long Protestant Christian and had some reservations about what I might learn. Those reservations where unfounded, if nothing else what I’ve learned is in keeping with what I learned in seminary.
Hail Holy Queen is one of the most beautiful prayer I’ve ever read, heard or spoken. This might sound cheesy but it is my go to prayer. Thank you for this video and your work to bring glory to our Lord Jesus and joy to the church.

We have such a rich heritage in our Catholic faith, nothing compares to the beauty and solemnity of it's hymns. I'm a Mexican and from the time I was a little girl, my mother always kept a tiny altar in the house. I used to like gazing at all the little figures and holy cards she kept on it. I'm 75 now, my 2 children are gone and married, and I live in an apartment building for Seniors. The first thing I did when I settled in was build an altar. I even bought an electric votive candle to keep it lit all the time. I pray all day. Each time I walk, I pray Hail Mary's and e ah day I might change the intentions. Most of the time, I pray for The Holy Souls, but if I hear someone was killed in a car accident or a little girl was shot in the face and the bullet has traveled to her lungs, I offer my Hail Mary's for her miraculous recovery. She's only 7 years old and doctors fear she will be permanently paralyzed. Please pray for her to Our Lady. She knows who she is and will ask her Son for help. And pray often for all your friends, your deceased relatives and those descendants you don't even KNOW. Jesus never refuses any request made by His Mother. That's why we love her so much.

I say this with respect, but what you believe is not biblical. The early church never taught us to pray to Mary. The Bible warns against seeking the dead. We can go directly to God because of Jesus, why go to anyone else.
Jesus saved us, he took our punishment. He is the only one who deserves our worship. Mary was a humble servant as was Abraham, Jacob and Isaac.
Please don't take my word for it. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the Truth to you.

@@DTH1661 Only the God-Man Jesus could die for our sins. And Mary had the grace of God save her before committing any sin, by creating her free of original sin, so as to bear Christ in her womb. If she was with sin, then Scripture would not have said that He became sin for us on the cross, since being born of a sinful mother, He would also have inherited original sin; this is also spelled out in Jewish tradition and law. Yes, she had a savior, and called Him so, but not in the same way did He save her; it was rather not a rescue or redemption form sin already committed, but rather like preserving her from sinning in the first place, as warning one of a pit in the road instead of pulling [her] out of it after a fall into it.
A loving God couldn't simply "use" a woman to bare His VERY SON, mixing forever God and Mankind in a profound way, and simply toss her aside! THAT is not the God I know, and I hope it isn't yours either. So, her job now as always, is to lead us to Jesus. Few words are recorded in the Bible by Mary, but one that comes to mind here, is from the wedding at Canna, "Do whatever He tells you". Then, He proceeded to work His first miracle, just for His Mother's sake, and thus began His Ministry, since His fame had begun to spread from that first proof of His Divinity. He still does this in heaven. I don't care if you don't believe in this Tradition from the original beliefs of the Church started by Christ, but I pity you for not having at your disposal the great help of the Mother of God, nor of the other saints who's prayers rise to The Throne like incense on our behalf [Read Revelations; this and more on Mary is in there, especially Chapter 12.]. I could make this post twice as long, recounting all of the parallels between Mary and king David, and Elizabeth and David again, and also how John leapt before Mary when she visited her, and so forth. But, perhaps that would also be moot for you? So sad indeed.
We Catholics do not worship any created creature, and that incudes our Blessed Mother. We DO however ask her, and all the other Saints in heaven to pray for us, for they are already before the heavenly Throne of God, seeing Him face to face, and they have been made perfect.

I wanted to share this just so people can experience what I did recently. I went to SEEK conference. Imagine Salve Regina being chanted in a football stadium in St. Louis being chanted by 17,000 young adult Catholics. It was beautiful

That's how I ended up here...Catholic church in Georgia had the whole congregation singing this. I couldn't sing along then. I was brought to tears.
Sou cristão protestante, porém me encanta os cânticos gregorianos católicos, são puros e sinceros e Deus com certeza recebe a adoração.
Que a mãe santíssima e imaculada lhe traga para junto da família de Deus, a Igreja católica. Eu fui protestante da Assembléia de Deus, fui ateu, fui budista, mas nunca minha mente teve paz, sempre faltou algo, faltou racionalidade, faltou transcendencia, faltou sentido, explicação. O buraco era imenso, mas um dia, eu resolvi estudar sobre a Igreja Católica como antropologia, mas oq eu encontrei n foi uma obra humana, mas o verdadeiro sentido da existência de todos os seres humanos. A Igreja é mãe virgem da qual todos nascemos, é por meio dela q nos tornamos um com Cristo, q nos tornamos filhos de Deus. Dê uma mínima chance, um mínimo ato de boa vontade, se n pra crer, ao menos pra ouvir oq a Igreja tem a dizer, q lhe garanto, vc vai descobrir quem é vc, quem é Deus e qual a finalidade da sua vida e de tudo que existe.
No hay mayor pureza y alabanza a Dios que alabar a su Santísima madre y por ello este canto echo en la lengua madre es tan hermoso
