We did the Fort William sleeper… great scenery, similarly cramped but lovely experience. Arriving with the day still ahead is a definite advantage.

Yea, I can imagine that the views would have been great on that journey. On my bucket list of trips to do at some point! Thanks for watching 😊

I went travelling in 2017 around Central Europe. I went from Bratislava to Vienna and it was the biggest eye opener ever. Bratislava is really cheap (like the cheapest place to buy a pint in the whole of Europe…you can get 9 pints for €10 in certain parts!). Yet Vienna is an hour away by bus…they’re the closest capital cities in Europe and yet Vienna is really expensive. It just blew my mind how different the prices were in such a short distance

Completely agree, there is a huge difference between Bratislava and Vienna!

Great stuff! What a great price btw. any long distance sleeper journey across the UK for 2 is worth a months rent!

Yea, we were surprised at the price when we booked. The prices in the UK are the reason we haven't yet had the chance to be on a sleeper train. This just felt like really good value. Thanks for watching 😊.

Great video, those sleeping pods look very cosy if a little small.

They were pretty cosy despite being quite small! Thanks for watching 😊

I think I'll stick to the daytime Railjet, travelled all over Austria on those! 😎 Very innovative though with those mini cabins.

Yea, they are pretty innovative. But completely understand that the mini cabins aren't for everyone😊

It certainly looked a bit squashed in that little cabin. Could you actually sit up properly? You whispered all the time, although you didn't have anyone above you, could you hear people in adjacent cabins? Although having some privacy and being able to stretch out to sleep is definitely better than dozing in a seat in a busy carriage I'm not sure I would enjoy that night sleeper.

Yes we both managed to sit up in the cabin. We did have people above us in the cabin so whispered to try and not disturb them. It's definitely a good budget option but comfort wise isn't 100% ideal but as you said still better than a seat. Thanks for watching 😊.
