That's true for a lot of the markets we have visited here. I think some of the markets in Europe can over great value if you are willing to make the trip!
The stalls are a shambles with being so over priced , ive tried 2 avoid this area but hard 2 with being next to St enochs, won't touch goerge sq either either , seriously get a grip with the prices
C,Mon these markets are purely to screw as much money as they can from you. Nothing to do with the real Xmas spirit. It will be bunny's and Easter eggs in a few weeks! Baa, enjoying my bag of Humbugs 😂!
That's true it does feel like these markets are there to make as much money as possible and have lost a bit of the Christmas spirit. Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks, Im not a Scrooge but will probably visit one for the experience. It's just so expensive, then the traders do have overhead s.@@terrifictraveltales
I don't think it's fair when people say the prices at these events are justified by the occasion. From the food/drink, funfair attractions and everything else is extremely unaffordable. Is it worth spending about a £100 on a few amusement rides, snack foods/drinks and throwaway ornaments for a wee family? Depends how much value you put on such enjoyments...I guess but not for me. You could end up going to the Xmass markets, Irn Bru Carnival, GlasGlow, and the few other events and pay a £100 each time
Yea, these markets have gotten pretty expensive now. If the markets sold local produce, I would be more inclined to buy something even if it was a little more expensive. Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks for sharing I was thinking about going but I stay about an hour and half way
You're welcome😊It's lovely to see Glasgow all festive, but would keep the prices in mind!
Thanks for watching 😊
thanks for the video, at least now I know not to waste my time going
Yea, I understand why you wouldn't want to visit. Thanks for watching!
Good video but I think of Christmas Markets as being over priced food which you can’t even sit down and enjoy.

You would probably shit urself pal but when ur dangling up there waiting to come down you can see the city views from up there.❤😅
That's exactly why I wouldn't go on it, despite the view🤣
You should try the Blizzard Ride a great view at the top make sure ur got a toilet roll wae yae😅
Maybe Iain can give it a try🤣 No chance I'll ever go on the Blizzard Ride😃

Yea, the prices are pretty expensive. Not sure how most people can afford it!
Christmas markets are very pretty but I think the food and drink tends to be expensive and the crafty things for sale are unappealing to me.
Yea, the food and drink can be quite expensive
Do focus a wee bit on the prices when you go to the Christmas markets in Austria and Germany
Will do!
There is more marble in the city chambers than in the Vatican 😊
Glad I got that one right😃 Thanks for confirming!😊
8 pound for a Bratwurst? you can get 6 for 3 pound at Lidl
Yea, £8 is quite a lot for a Bratwurst
