I'm 100% someones child connected their iPad or something to it and the Hottub has horrible security and lacks a proper pin #. All the parents need to do is go to their neighbors doors and ask... it isn't rocket science.
Just cover the bluetooth area with an aluminium foil to reduce receiving signal strength and that is it. It may be only a few meters range, but it is enough to cancel out other signals.
Correct me if I am wrong, shouldn't all bluetooth devices have a physical button when enter pairing mode? In other words, the device only has about 30-60 seconds to pair after hitting the button. For any other time, no one should be able to connect. 🤷♂
LG TVs, if you have WiFi enabled which also enables bluetooth for some reason, will advertise themselves as both bluetooth and wifi direct devices, and allow anyone to attempt to pair with them. When they do, a dialog pops up dead center over whatever you're watching which says ". would like to pair for audio / video / porno / DDOS / remote control playback, accept?" (usually there's no device name of course) Yes is always highlighted so you have to navigate to No to get rid of the dialog. There's no timeout and the person can attempt to re-pair immediately. I turned off wifi on the TV and it's about ready to get shut off on the home network since even the newer versions are a useless security risk.
That should not exist. Bluetooth should have a pair mode which only enables at user request. This is a basic concept on security. Sorry to hear about your issue.
I did some research and that model of Aquasol speakers which is part of PeakLife models, do in fact have no pin #. The 2.0 ones do have a set pin # now. Someone should tell the family this.
I mean it's someone nearby for sure, get an ESP32 with some scripts off github and set up a honeypot. There's so much out there that they could do to find who's doing it, just uneducated.
The 'hackers' are most likely just kids next door
It's the neighbors kid for sure

Unbelievable! They tried nothing and they are all out of ideas!
