Jia Jia and Kai Kai. They also have a baby now named Le Le. Go to the skydeck at the Marina Bay Sands hotel. Be on the roof of that boat and watch the beautiful view. A lot of Singaporeans live in the HBD's ...the public housing made by the government. So around these you'll see a lot of these outdoor gyms. Also its a country that runs mainly on public transport n not for a moment do you miss owning a car. SG is a dream place. You must plan a longer trip. Sentosa Island, Bird Park, night safari, Clark quay ...the food there, MBS mall, Mustafa centre at Little India, Chinatown, Merlion Park, East Coast Park, Orchard Street.....the list is endless. I ❤SG!! Majulah Singapura!!!
Only Asians who don't want to get dark refrain from walking. I used to be one of those. Now that I love walking and the outdoors (multiday trek etc), I got darker. Know what Asians I know told me? "Oh, you are so much darker now. What happened?" with a sad face. I was usually the fairest amongst everyone including other white people. Funny part is they talk like it is a bad thing to get darker.

I missed how they have air conditioners everywhere so that I don't have to sweat but here in Singapore it's so warm and humid. Their architectures are absolutely stunning and Emirates fly to more destinations than our Singapore Airlines

was a shame you didn’t have the time to visit the observatories, they’re air-conditioned and really beautiful. also visit the hawker centres for good local food, go to sentosa or the surrounding islands (pulau ubin etc) if you have time, and don’t forget jewel changi airport before you leave SG!

The areas out of your hotel in those first few minutes is just public housing estate… and a pretty old one 3-4 decades old :) these overhead bridges are like really old too. Lol
A little tip about crossing the bridge near St. John Ambulance headquarter, you can go inside the mall and take the escalator to level 2. That way you can avoid the heat and climb the stairs.

Rumour has it that the “flower” at MBS actually represent an open palm facing the MBS building. So in Chinese feng shui, it’s meant to “catch” the wealth/money of the people gambling in the casino in MBS 😅😅♥️
