13 years pouring concrete for a living got me really mad quick watching this video until i realized he was joking lol. People that have never done this work have no idea how much work it is to pour concrete and do it right.
WINNING it is putting things like post in the ground and you have to put concrete around them. Try doing what the guys behind him are doing. It takes alot of work getting to look right takes alot of back work. Do you know how many bags it would take to fill even that section he is working on? He is gonna pour that out of a truck not mix bags to fill it in. You do know they make concrete trucks right? You sir must be really stupid to think all concrete is mixed by hand using bags.
WINNING you said mixing which would say you would have to mix bags of concrete. Yes the truck does it thats what the truck is for. Your the idiot and a racist for saying only stupid Mexicans do this sort of work. You do however need the experience and back labor to get the job done right. This shows me how you know nothing about nothing. How many patios and sidewalks have you poured and finished and got paid for?
WINNING i bet your one of these rich raised people that have been given everything your whole life. You went to college and got a degree and you think your better than everyone especially people that have to work hard like these guys do to make a living. I did this sort of work for years to pay the bills and i graduated high school with a 4.0. Now i have a better job making almost twice as much than this job would give me and i do not work near as hard. I bet you look down your nose at servers and walmart workers too dont you? But i bet you still go out to eat and you probably go to walmart.

I wish that my time watching this cement video wasn’t wasted. Right away I knew that this information was terrible but had to wait until the end to see that my time was indeed wasted. Life is unfair.
I'm soooo pissed off right now! I was thinking of all the possibilities; from a career change, to opening my own business; and I was going to start this off by pouring me a brand new driveway and foundation for a possible garage. Damn it! I feel so mentally used and abused right now. (High Hopes...dashed! Now I got to spend the rest of the day trying to shake this f'd-up feeling and get back to my regular life. Effing grass for fibers!...knowing I can rip grass apart with my bare hands. What the hell was I thinking!). Dude!, you so wrong for doing this video! To Hell wit April Fools Day!....... Aight, aight, you got me. Shit!
Well, crap! Not being a concrete guy, I thought this contractor was good, but it did sound a little strange. I wanted to learn this stuff anyway, and I was all over this till he started writing! What the hey, man? 😕
I tore out a concrete patio in the front yard, the reinforcement consisted of Schlitz cans, random metal, and chain link fence. For what its worth, it worked ok for a few decades. The previous owner's handyman was a character......almost done redoing/removing everything he did.
35 years ago we built my grandparents new home. and used this very method. works fine. still today there isnt a crack anyplace in that house. its solid concrete and cinder block walls, even the interior walls are cinder block with face brick on both sides. huge house up in rural nebraska.
Tore out a small porch slab to find it was reinforced with an old mattress minus the fabric. Bottom was half filled with chunky rocks so little actual concrete
Wtf, he must have had a lot of time in his hands while the other guys in the back were working for real. I'm a contractor, and I'm laughing my ass off at this guy, with the grass at the bottom of the forms, I was floored😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!!😂
The people that believe every word from this man are the same people who think the concrete trade is nothing more than dumping concrete into a hole and letting it dry.
I just order prefabbed 6x6 slabs on Amazon cause they're supper light, and the UPS drivers usually just carry them to the house two at a time. The best part is, if you have Prime, you can just use your Discover burrito points and it won't cost you anything!!! Great video.
@mytube1968 If you tell them to pump helium into the concrete when they're making your slabs, the UPS drivers will thank you as they can just float the slabs up to your front door. Be ready to receive them, though, as they can float off.
How have I never seen this. Good work. I wish you would have said something like "this pump truck was just pouring road construction in Houston, we gave him $20 and some beer now he brought us all the concrete."
So many times I was like "Dude's crazy." lol Nice vid. I expect the people who believed it are the same type who would believe Flex-Seal can be used to fix oil leaks. 🤣
Wait, you mean it wont work for this oil leak??? I was told all I had to do was spray the entire can into my gas tank and that it would travel thru my injectors and once sprayed it turns to a tar and seals my entire engine! I used 2 cans to be on the safe side, just so tired of the stains on my driveway. Anyways I'll let you know how it works!
@@mongolsmffm4829 I did the same thing. Two cans inside a full tank of gas so it will seal the top inside of the tank as well. It worked perfectly. No leaks on my driveway, not one! Well the tow truck had a leak but other than that no leaks haha.
I knew right away that he was joking when he mentioned leaving the grass for the fibers. I have first hand experience pouring concrete with organics in it (wood, leaves, olive pits, etc.). It weakens the concrete so bad and is very difficult to fix.
This actually works! I built an entire poured concrete home for a family, using this priceless information. (God rest their souls.) When I get out of prison, I am going to teach this method to new contractors.

Even for someone like me who's only a well experienced amateur (in my lifetime, we've poured somewhere well north of 350 c/y on the family farm, of which only about 30 was "PROFESSIONALLY DONE". The rest we did ourselves (with the aid of the several evening community college construction classes my Dad took when I was growing up). We did have a cement mixer, but pretty much all of the rest of the labor was by hand....

Being that I've poured a fair number of slabs in my time, I was nose-wrinkled and cross-eyed the whole way through this video. To think, all I needed to do was notice the date that this video was uploaded! I wonder how many didn't quite watch it to the end out of excitement thinking they were going to pour the perfect, self-leveling, natural fiber strengthened driveway or patio on a shoestring budget... Do you think the number of dislikes corresponds to the number of fails as a result of believing this video? lol I sure hope not.
"Pump truck are fairly cheap" 😂🤣😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s true

He remains dead serious, that alone is worth an oscar.
Yea grass ain't strong enough not even close.Wonder how many people took him seriously.
You round earthers take us all for a joke. This guy deserves a phd for his contributions to science research. When you look into it...
At 12:50 you can almost see him break character. But my god... this is so good.
Lyin contractor. That's what they are really good at.
Awesome performance 👏🏾👏🏾
Did he say the earth is not round? Good one! 😂
I don't work construction, I've only ever poured one slab in my life, but this video is priceless.
LOL.....
I'm thinking a customer complained that he cost too much so he made this video to throw it back in they face hahaha
As a certified concrete inspector, this could not be more cringe! Great video, lots of laughs!
I used to be a inspector... easiest most high paid job ive ever had...
The last inspection i did was the water tower in nashville..
They poured 1000 yards a day for a week
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣
Concrete Inspector: alright let's take a look see....yup that's concrete alright...*quickly runs after receiving check*
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 he had me dying with the shelving brackets. Hahaha. “You put these on the Inside corners and then boom!” And then he kicks one out when he’s pouring and just throws it aside. 😂😂😂 ah man. That’s perfectly square!” Lmao. Well done man hilarious video.
You should have won a oscar for keeping a straight face while making this DIY video.

WTH 😱 very realistic... to the end 😂👊
O.M.J! Hilarious.
Lol ...that little self level bag took that big crater out while u went and got beers...lol...ur guys brought that come along over there while you were gone.....lol....just seen the end....
13 years pouring concrete for a living got me really mad quick watching this video until i realized he was joking lol. People that have never done this work have no idea how much work it is to pour concrete and do it right.
you're joking right? Mixing and pouring concrete is VERY simple. If you say its not easy you are either lying or just plain stupid.
Ninten dont But do You’re wasting time responding. A piece of shit asshole troll is the worst kind of trash there is and he’s a pro.
Perfect! I've been telling my husband (a contractor) that I want to build me a work shed by MYSELF. He's actually been really supportive. I'm going to play this and act like I'm watching a tutorial. I'll see if he falls for it.🤞 🤭
It's obvious a spoof His stakes are too short...and last year he shod have seeded tough grass....other t han that it's all good
This is a parody 🤣
Give him more love 😘 and maybe you will see a shed soon

nice back drop, I went from confused to laughing out loud. Great video
The problem with this video, is that some people may watch it all the way up till "April Fools", and then miss that part! Then, they go and try the whole procedure! Whoa boy! lol.
O
Can you imagine the disaster 🤣😁😂...
If they do then they deserve it.
No moisture barrier 😂🤣

They’ll do it for 20 bucks and a burrito 😀😃😄😁😆😅😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. This guy deserves an academy award for being able to keep a straight face through the whole thing.
loved the part about sprinkling the self leveler then going for some cold beer and come back and the job is done. love it!
"Twenty bucks and a burrito!"
Damn that was great 🤣🤣🤣
Don't forget the cerveza😂
That got me too bruh😂
🤣🤣🤣😭 Why did that part pop up as I was reading your comment? Omg!
Let me ask u something its probably his contracting sight
Glad I waited till the end. You have no idea what I was going to say about this. I don't think TH-cam would even allow it in comments. Thank you for the laugh...I really needed it! God bless you.
LOLS I was thinking "where did this guy learn anything" and then he pulled the flat earth thing HAHA
Good job!
I feel like I need to check my IQ after watching this video. I was so planning to do this 😂 until I saw the end of the video. WTF. Good one man!
🙋♀️🙋♀️ me too 🤣🤣 I need that IQ check 🤦♀️🤓🤣
Not funny at all asshole. Why do you think it’s funny th lie to people the do not know any better. This should not be allowed to be on this Chanel.
Yeah I had to replay the end to make sure I understood him clearly lol
I fell for it. This guy was really sounding like he was full of soup. He said the earth was flat. I'm not a pro but I have worked on many construction projects, 99.9% what he said was bull. It's a good thing I watched it to the end. Peace.
everybody knows the earth is round,
like a pancake.
Fake news....must be a dem
Man, you had me really worried for a little bit. I’m glad I watched until the end. Nice one.!! I do love the 20 bucks and a burrito part.
Nice to finally see a honest contractor helping people out here. Thank you man I am going to use all these tips next weekend when I put in my driveway and patio.
Try it please, tell us what happened..
😆
Did you watch the whole video 😂
Gillette Gaming I’m watching it step by step as I build my patio , it’s great for do it yourself, much appreciated.
😆
LOL!!! My favorite part was when he started talking about the earth being flat!! I knew he was NUTS at that point until he said it was April Fools. Very creative idea. Funny stuff.
20 bucks and a burrito? Count me in.
$20 bucks... a $1.00 burrito and $15.00 for concrete and u get a patio???? I'll take 3!!!
Been a carpenter for 38 years. This is the best tutorial I've ever seen on concrete, and what's behind the costs! Make sure to watch till the end... david
What I hated about this video was that I couldn't stop watching. Thanks for the laughs. 😄
He got me hahaha. I will share it w/co,workers.
The fact that some people can’t see the sarcasm is astounding
Thats just how good of a salesman this guy is
Sorry, but I've never done any real construction work nor have I heard some of his terms like "porous" and "leveling." I just wanted to make a cement
As soon as he said grass was good fiber and he didn't know why a framing hammer was so long I knew he was full of it

He had me with paying the pump truck 20$ and a burrito!!😂😂
While seeing the title and started watching video I thought this guy is very knowledgeable person and helping people, but at end cannot stop laughing 😂😂
He actually is very knowledgeable.
Almost had me going. Grass fiber bwahaha, lol, shelf brackets , I'm dying!
He got me going all through the video as i was writing. Then he says April fools at end. Good one!!!
It was flat grass as soon as they started to pour. LOL
got me, I kept watching thinking "this guy's old enough to know better" got me
Lol, to be honest this guy did a great job of making me think he was serious for a bit. And he's right about people blowing a gasket! I started cussing out the TV when he said "concrete is not porous". Lol!
He started talking about how to hold the hammer and I'm like, what? Then the "braces" just killed me. 🤣
Hello Mr. George…
Grew up in a concrete family, this had my sides hurting from laughing so hard.
$20.00 bucks and a burrito will get your ass kicked by a driver!!!
Hard Core Hope Foundation lmao when I head 20 bucks and a burrito I was like wtf are you kidding me I got charge 7000 to do my drive way and mofos are pocketing the rest 😂
Abel Rojas Those pumps are so expensive that I have done an entire basement using a wheelbarrow.
Hard Core Hope Foundation ... in California?
Hell yea they'll run your ass over.
This guy is a bit much...BUT I know plenty of ppl that for $20-$100 have gotten walkways and driveways done or mostly done with “leftover” material from jobs being done right next door just so they could go home with an empty truck bc it was all already paid for anyway
Actually I let the grass grow a lot longer before I lay the concrete. This saves you money on shag carpeting.
Lmao
Dude.... Funny as hell😂
Lol
Tomas Navratil Lmfao, that was funny as fucking brother.
I have killed my self laughing. Thats Funny
I knew something was wrong when he tells you "I shouldn't be walking on the grass", but then continues to walk ON THE GRASS the entire time LOL!
That sledge was to drive those stakes deeper!!!
😂
This was hilarious. Natural fibers had me dying.
Instructions unclear used too much self leveled now my neighborhood haves no hills anymore
ImRIckJames lmfao

Instructions unclear , I forgot to trim so now I have concrete on my balls
lol...well done 🌯🍺
Thank God. This guy had me cussing. I've done concrete work for 30 years and I was really getting pissed off. You got me.
Nice use of a slurry pit! Don't forget you can save money on concrete by throwing your empty beer cans in there.
@@bigpjohnson chain link fence best reinforcing. Tore out an old stoop with that in there....hardest tear out ever in 32 years
@ 😂😂😂
What is scary , is there are people who will actually believe this and try it.
He Knows I’m one ☝️ of them lmao 🤣
Yeah and don't watch the end lol.... I'm out $20 and a burrito!
I don't believe it but I try because cheap
Wtf, he must have had a lot of time in his hands while the other guys in the back were working for real. I'm a contractor, and I'm laughing my ass off at this guy, with the grass at the bottom of the forms, I was floored😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!!😂
Or he's the owner
The people that believe every word from this man are the same people who think the concrete trade is nothing more than dumping concrete into a hole and letting it dry.
I just order prefabbed 6x6 slabs on Amazon cause they're supper light, and the UPS drivers usually just carry them to the house two at a time. The best part is, if you have Prime, you can just use your Discover burrito points and it won't cost you anything!!! Great video.
That’s historical
@mytube1968 If you tell them to pump helium into the concrete when they're making your slabs, the UPS drivers will thank you as they can just float the slabs up to your front door. Be ready to receive them, though, as they can float off.
Sinking both head on a dubblex nail really! That defeating a purplose . moron. Just use a regular nail.
“The handle is just for when you put it in your pouch, more leverage” 😂😂😂
" Get you a pump truck. Go find one in your neighborhood and just give him some gas money and he'll pump it for you"
and a burrito!
😂🤣
How have I never seen this. Good work. I wish you would have said something like "this pump truck was just pouring road construction in Houston, we gave him $20 and some beer now he brought us all the concrete."
So many times I was like "Dude's crazy." lol
Nice vid.
That was funny. Even more funny are the comments from people tearing into this guy about how wrong he is, not knowing this was comedy.
I was waiting for one of the guys in the background to run up and yell something like “How the hell did Eric escape the nuthouse again?!?”
Or " Felipe you dont work here ,please stop comming on our sites.
What I love about this video is that almost everyone started pressing with commentary, before they got to the parody at the end. You got em good.
"Mother Earth is giving you all the fibers you need" hahahahaha
I was in tears by the "Earth" part😂
I was buying this until he started talking about the nails😂
I knew right away that he was joking when he mentioned leaving the grass for the fibers. I have first hand experience pouring concrete with organics in it (wood, leaves, olive pits, etc.). It weakens the concrete so bad and is very difficult to fix.
Hahahaha, yeah, that was the best part of the whole thing. I was completely dying!
😂😂😂the funniest part
Lol. I got caught completely. Commented half way through. Made my day. I was seriously getting stressed out. 😂😂
Hes joking lol
Getting stressed out, then laughing at the end.. Priceless.
This actually works!
I built an entire poured concrete home for a family, using this priceless information. (God rest their souls.)
When I get out of prison, I am going to teach this method to new contractors.
LMFAO!!!!!
“I’ll show you a trick to make it self level” 😂😂😂 fucking A. 11:11 sprinkles that shit on 😂😂😂😂 holy fuck this HILARIOUS!!!! I don’t know how it did this with a str8 face.
“DONT add this if you’re doing a slopped surface!” 😂😂 holy
Shit man I’m dyyyyying. “Go have some beers with your friends” 😂 ah man.
Hilarious! I actually think my last concrete crew followed this segment and stopped short of the April Fools part. What a disaster!!

I did at first cause I don't know shit about concrete!
LOL
Only thing u can use from mother nature is rocks or the Chinese method back in the day bamboo.
he had me to the end.
I was skeptical
That was too funny!!! I’m glad I scrolled to the comments below fast. I couldn’t take it after the earth fibers! lol 😆
And he's stomping the grass . lol
Florentine Ortiz he got me too
Florentine, I'm with you!!! Fortunately I also jumped to the comments section. If I hadn't, I'd already have filed a complaint with TH-cam management. That being said, it was pretty funny.
7891ph that’s amazing! I’m from South America and my grandfather will mix sand, gravel, and cement to the proper ratios and pour driveways and foundations... ALL BY HAND! there was a few guys on the job and got it done. His 3 story home still standing, all concrete levels.. that’s awesome about your farm. I’ll probably do that
Doug Tipton 8
i've watched this multiple times over the years. Its great! I really appreciate your wit and making it convincing!!!! I love when you say "cement" instead of concrete. When someone says See-ment floor or whatever, I laugh to myself and teach them the difference between cement and concrete. Concrete work is extremely difficult, heavy work. Thanks for your videos!!!!
At first I thought he was an idiot. As soon as he showed the "correct" way to hold a hammer I knew he was just messing with us.
LMAOOOOO
That’s when I got it too. I was skeptical until then but from then on it was a total hoooot
The only reason for that long handle on that hammer is so it's easy to get in your pouch so you look like a carpenter LOL
This just came up in my feed. I'm rolling with laughter.
I'm disappointed you didn't cover the different reinforcement strength of different grass types. 😂😂😂
Everyone know weeds have more strength then grass that’s why they use weeds on highways 😐
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣‼️
I'm happy I finished this video. The first thought was: "is this dude out of his mind?". Nice Joke! :)
