Great video, I did use the R1100RS before and do my own throttle adjustment. I balance with manometer that I specially made it. The U tube is about 12 inches tall with a balance line to desensitize it initially and pinch the balance line to get a more accurate reading. The throttle sensor can be adjusted.. I did mine myself but its not for the faint hearted, its best to send it to the dealer.

@Fidojovan The sensor is a variable resistor. There is a possibility to adjust it if You have a very precise voltmeter. Still its safer to see Your BMW dealers workshop.

R1100. Why did you change the screw adjustment at the end and not first and then the cable adjustment?

Make your own from some cheap aquarium tubing. I mounted mine permanent against the garage wall. There are plenty of clips on TH-cam to show you how to make one of these. Use the simple ones with the tube in a U shape and ATF when working with a 2 cylinder engine. A lot more accurate then any mechanical dials. Make sure that your valves are adjusted as good as possible and that you don't have any air leaks.

Hi, I have an RT 1200 2012, with the new engine. I wrongly touched the left screw of the throttle body, the one that you're NOT supposed to touch. Is there a solution?? at BMW they say that I have to change both throttle bodies!!! (800 u$), Thanks!
Luis, Check the fora on the internet. I cannot help you here because I have an 1100GS, different Motronic. I readjusted my "forbidden" screws together with the TPS and the bike runs better know then it ever did. Its not black magic but the procedure is different for the different models. Good luck.

jeśli martwisz się o stan silnika, to możesz sprawdzić ciśnienie sprężania i stan króćców dolotowych powietrza. Potem synchro i jest OK.

A ja mam taki problem... Na zimnym silniku obroty jałowe są w zakresie 900/1000obr/min ale gdy silnik się zagrzeje wtedy wchodzi na 2000obr/min, ma ktoś jakiś pomysł co się dzieje, silnik BMW r1100
Sprawdź, czy jedna z gum zamykająca wlot wskaźnika podciśnienia jest pęknięta lub uszkodzona. Wydaje się być fałszywym wlotem powietrza
Mam to samo, udało Ci się zdiagnozować co było przyczyną tych wysokich obrotów?
