  • In this video, I remove the right side throttle body. Removing the left side throttle body is the same process.
    Tools needed:
    * Needle-nose pliers
    * T25 torx driver
    * Phillips-head screwdriver
    Please note I am not trying to save or salvage any parts (unless so stated) from this motorcycle, so I may engage in destructive behavior not conducive to reusing some parts. Post if you have questions and I'll do my best to answer.

    I understand you are not saving the bike, but I cannot believe you cut the throttle cable.

    Titolo del video ''Come NON smontare il corpo farfallato di un GS 1200''
    Togliere la clip che trattiene il dado regolazione cavo bowden così da non perdere la regolazione e allineamento (sincronizzazione dei corpi farfallati) e al contempo si sfila anche la testina senza tagliarlo.....quando ha toccato la vite con la ceralacca blu me preso un colpo.....

      nel titolo però c'è scritto "tear down", ossia demolizione di un 1200GS

      Yes ... I know this now :) Remember, most of these parts were not going to be reused and this was a learning exercise!
