I’m 25 and just go into painting for some random reason that I’ve yet to dwell into. Yet when I watch artist paint, I get so emotional and just in awe at the beauty. Never liked painting or drawing in my life, and now I’m in love.. thank you for the inspiration you share online. :)
That was the best I’ve thing I’ve read in comments for a long time. I remember going National Gallery in London, UK. I had some time to kill and it was free, so. But walking around I saw a painting of the ocean by William Turner, and it made me stop. And it made me catch my breath. I left the place with tears welling, and emotions overflowing. And still don’t know why. I spend a lot more time in galleries since. I enjoy paintings, and now also enjoy making paintings.
I am so happy to see these comments. I thought I was the only one who got emotional in seeing art, whether it be paintings, sculptures, movies or music. I marvel at the beauty we humans are capable of.
The further the artist gets into opening their vision into this world, I can almost hear the sounds- the rain, cars, tires on wet pavement and a horn or two, etc. And toward the end, I can smell and feel the cool, damp air. Amazing talent. The music fits perfectly.
I love your paintings I always feel so emotional and want to cry. Especially your rainy scenes for some reason...makes me feel like I've been there or want to be there....creating life on a blank page is magical and beautiful and you are a master of your craft. Your videos have helped ease the pain of losing my mother, Thank You.
I don't think people realise how much of a genius you are. I've seen plenty of knife paintings in my life and never thought twice about them, as they were unappealing and lacked attention to detail. Your paintings come to life with the sheer attention to detail you pour into them. You are the type of artist that people will talk about for generations. Truly, keep painting without regard to what people have to say, please. Your talent and paintings need to be kept for generations to see and wonder over. Thank you for your contribution to humanity's weaving web of artistic endeavors.
Watching this painting unfold was like a journey for me! All of the ups and downs and watching the creativity unfold. The mastery of technique was impressive. The color choice is impeccable. A true masterpiece! It reminded me of a rainy day I spent in the city not so long ago.
Brilliant marriage of art and technique! Mesmerizing to watch the development from a blank canvas to a full blow winter scene, in 29 minutes of pure pleasure! Thanks!
In 1988 I moved to NY city from a small town in eastern Washington when I was 19 and stayed for about a year and a half. . I got a job in Brooklyn in a book bindery. I have many memories, all good, during that time! Now at 53 years old I'm watching this video of city life in the rain - an absolute beautiful painting! All the memories come rushing back during that time in my youthful life and I'm getting very emotional! Thanks for the trip down memory lane and I'll be looking for a painting like this to decorate my newly remodeled foyer! I hope to find one! Thanks again!
Absolutely amazing. You know it’s amazing when you watch the entire video. You watch the process of making this painting and still in wonder about how he did it. It’s perfect in how imperfect it is. I have no painting knowledge, so I can’t speak on what style this is. All I can say is I prefer this over a painting that is overly real. It has so much life and somehow it connects with me. Immediately I start feeling something deep and meaningful. I love it. Wow
WOW. That was freaking crazy amazing! I was on the edge of my seat trying to see what was coming next. I enjoyed watching the process as much as the final result. Awesome all together.
You’ve taken me to the 90’s 😂 I don’t know why but I feel I’ve been here 😮 you are outstanding and greatly talented.. I’m just blown away by your hands 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻💯🙌✍️👨🎨
That was so cool seeing it all come together. This is definitely one of those type of art pieces that leave a more lasting impression after having seen the process versus just seeing the finished result.
I learn so much watching your technique and am amazed at your drawing skills with a palette knife. However, I loved this painting up to 14 minutes. The figures were still mostly silhouettes. For me the painting looked so beautiful with the raw edges. After that the details were too much for my eyes. I love watching you paint and thank you for sharing your talents.
I saw a young lady materialize and walk herself out of a building made of paint at one point. It wasn't even an illusion, it was just exactly what the artist was trying to do. That was a trip to see. Beautiful piece.
WOW. To watch this as it happened in time...The forms, developmental psychology, history, emergence itself. Yet this mindscape would be lost to another zeitgeist who had never been in a place with these objects. We get cars, umbrellas, streetlights, rainy pavement immediately, but as little as a century ago, these familiar impressions would be lost on aboriginal isolated peoples. Yet by using their objects from their mental snapshots of the experience of daily life, I'm sure that your insight as a communicator would resonate with them as well. Thanks for the deeper insight into impressionism that escaped me in the then boring lectures on art history. THIS is the collective unconscious; the time bound availability of what is going on prior to any meaning or effort. The antidote is here, in the beautiful unembellished eye of a true observer. Cleansing. Nourishing. Healing. Huge thumbs up! It is a rare privelege in this time to look through your eyes.
The way u just made this come to life made me question about an “ugly” drawing with so much potential that I started a long time ago and never finished, I can’t imagine what it looked like if I didn’t give up to focus on school work
This was a really enjoyable painting to see come together, from the beginning I had an idea of where it was going and it was so nice to see it take shape. Beautiful art work I’m happy I clicked on this video!
as someone from soggy vancouver, this painting gives me a sense of comfort. looks just like downtown van on a rainy day... same vibes anyway.... aside from the cars being on the other side of the road... so I suspect this may actually be inspired by soggy london :D
Thank you so much Dusan, I really really enjoyed watching you create this Stunningly amazing and beautiful piece of artwork. I can’t believe you have created such an awesome and unique piece of artwork I absolutely love ❤❤❤❤❤ this

@@tubecated_developmentI live quite near NPG and I love Turner too 😊

Yea! It's raining there!
I absolutely LOVE impressionist paintings that are both rough and realistic. What a gorgeous mood this one has.
