The tape holds up to water just fine, yes. We put the tape on before winter, just make sure to wash where that will be going so it sticks to a clean surface.

@tracenfitzpatrick yes, for Sunline you would have to seek out the owner's forums. A friend of mine is on one and gets a lot of good info from those guys. Sunline lingered around I think for a year after the 2008 crash but that's what killed them. I think their biggest problem was trying to keep up with the other companies making bigger trailers with all the slide outs. I think had they cut back to their staple 18, 22 and 25ft models they might have made it through. Ironically today all the small units are the most popular but they were stuck in a market phase that killed them.

I did the exact same thing on my 2021 wildwood. 29' I use the tape and Henry's. The roof was good no problems but I wanted to put a shell on it and to keep the camper cool inside. Since it is white it will reflect the heat.there was one comment that you didn't use the same product you mention not sure were he was going with that.

I haven’t used it doing laps, so you’d probably have a better sense for that. But if a regular snorkel would work, this will too.

No, it’s just a snorkel, so to breathe you have to be swimming on the surface. I’ve seen a video where someone attached a small oxygen tank to one of these for breathing underwater. Hope that helps.

The face plate is solid, so you wouldn’t be able to pinch your nose.

Wow, that’s quite the situation! Yeah, the trtl (at least the original model I have) just has the one brace, so you can place it wherever you want, but will only be able to tilt your head wherever you put the brace. I think the trtl would work behind your head, but I wonder if an inflatable pillow would work better in your situation.

However, I doubt an inflatable pillow would work, as it would just move around or flatten out (especially since I have a curious cat, who *definitely* would sink her claws into it the minute I left the room to go to the restroom, LOL!) like all the other pillows I’ve tried. I need something attached to my neck, so that it’s more likely to stay in the place I put it before I doze off … I considered the Cabeau pillow, but my cat also goes nuts for things like shoelaces, the cord you use to tighten a hood on a hoodie/sweatshirt, etc., which means she would be very interested in the closure on the Cabeau pillow, too … (And I don’t want to shut her out of the bedroom because not only does a purring kitty put me to sleep as if I’ve just taken a dose of sleeping pills, but also because Lucy would literally sit outside the bedroom door and HOWL until I give in and open the door back up - which I’d have to do if I want to get any sleep at all because her howling is loud enough to wake the comatose, and perhaps even the dead! 😉😉😉). But if you think it would work to put the stabilizing part of the trtl behind my neck, I may have to give the trtl a try …. Are there any other travel pillows you think might work for my situation? Any suggestions you have are appreciated, and so is advice on which travel pillows probably WON’T work; you could easily be saving me from weeks (or months!) of poor sleep, not to mention from spending my very limited income on the wrong pillows! 🥰🥰🥰

@@hello-vs4dc unfortunately I haven’t tried very many travel pillows, so my recommendation is fairly limited. If you do decide to try this one one, you could check the used options and see if you can save some money there. Amazon is also pretty decent at taking returns if it doesn’t work.

@@tracenfitzpatrick I will definitely keep that idea in mind - thanks for the reminder! … I always forget Amazon sometimes offers an option to buy used, but also what they claim is “like new” on certain items until after I’ve already ordered something I wanted brand new. I think it would help if the option to buy used was listed higher up on the page - or even listed first (I doubt that would cause Amazon to lose any money, either!), but for now I’m putting your suggestion on a sticky note at the top of my computer screen; hopefully that will help me remember it in this case at least. Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to add another suggestion if something occurs to you!

Only the back tilts on this one. Unless they’ve updated it in the years since I got mine, but I doubt it if they’re not showing the seat tilting as a feature. I’m 6’ tall, and haven’t had an issue sliding on it. Not sure on other recommendations, as I haven’t tried others yet.

Great question. If I only had a 1.25” hitch, I think I’d rather have that size without the converter. The converter adds another layer of jiggle which I don’t like, but I knew I would use it on a 2” hitch sometimes, and that’s why I went that size.

@@tracenfitzpatrick it’s just I heard someone mention that it fits on the U-Haul hitch and then someone else mentioned that it doesn’t so I’m confused I really like this rack

@@JasonXBeats hitches are made to be the right size, whatever the brand. So I’d guess the person who’s didn’t fit was a mess up on the hitch side or bike rack side.

Thanks, I appreciate it! It’s been winter out here, so I haven’t been out in a while. I’ve had it for 3 years though. Obviously there are higher quality racks out there that’ll be more sturdy or have better fastening straps etc. But this one has been good for us for the price.
