    Solid literary analysis
I especially liked how you pointed out adolin and dalinars comparisons to sadeas in approach to helping the king, you can see adolin is not sure if his father is well, he questions his judgment and is worried for him but in the heat of battle he knows who to follow.
After this hunt adolin is reminded of the glory that is the black thorn!

I've just started Oathbringer and Dalinar has been my favourite character so far! Him and Kaladin are too incredible... You're gonna love it dude!

Im so hyped for you man, I just finished Rythm of War. But Oathbringer, despite its split reactions… is by far one of my favourites! Dalinar goes from a 10 to an 11!! I wish I could just forget about it, so I could discover it again

That's awesome. Glad to hear he continues to be an important character. Fantasy dads have a tendency to die off pretty early so I was concerned. lol

I really like your speculations and insight to the characters and being able to break it down as you go instead of trying to summarize once finished. Having read through all of the Current series, it's interesting to go back and see a fresh perspective. I can't wait to follow along on your journey of discovering this awesome series.

You have great insight. Making videos throughout your progress is far better than a book review, which are already abundant on TH-cam.
I think Oathbringer will be your favourite book in the series so far.

This is great. I think producing these as you read is best, because you don't have to feign interest or curiosity, all you have to do is be authentic. I'm watching/listening to these as someone who read The Way of Kings several years ago, but am about to dive into Rhythm of War and your real-time recaps of Way of Kings is enhancing the experience. Keep on hammering, I have a feeling these videos will become much more popular as recent readers of the recent releases realize that you are building all this content they can use to go back and experience the older books in a new way (and without having the 40-55 Hrs of listening time).

What did you think of Dalinar's introduction? After I read it I had to rant here about it. lol
Also subscribe for more Fantasy content. I'm going to be making more content on The Way of Kings and The House of the Dragon in near the future.

    *theory, potential RoW spoilers*
David: "I really hope Dalinar doesn't die in the future"
me, who finished Rythm of War: "oh don't worry, he'll become Odium's champion, probably"

The Way of Kings, Chapter 12 "Unity," page 193, "Only one Shardbearer in the procession..." is the first time I noticed Dalinar mentioned, but if I missed something earlier please do let me know. 👍

Oh OK, I see it now. Damn it would have been nice to compare the man he was in that moment to the man he is when we first see him do stuff. lol. Well, thanks for pointing that out.
