Would the coolant collect on the skid plate on the bottom because of this? Mine leaks when it runs, i see no coolant flowing out of the engine when running running
Great video. Good info. My pipe is good. Just did the supercharger rebuild. Broke waterpump bolt and had to grind it out and helicoil it. Nightmare. I need to know about that actuator that's on the bracket bolted to the back of the blower. Has 2 nipples on it and It had no vacuum lines anywhere near it. Do I just ignore it ? What is it. I don't want to burry it yet. Any advice would be awesome. Cheers
What was the symptom of this leaking? Where was the water drooping? We have an 11 HSE sport that is dripping water on the cross member on driver and passenger side close to where the AC would normally be dripping also
im tellin yall now !! if you ever buy a ranger rover sport super charged!! 2009 t0 2012 ... they are reliable and fun to drive but right off the rip do the 6k repair the pipe he's talkin about u got one in the front and one in the rear change them both!! cuz they will leak. then u need to ZZP SUPERCHARGER COUPLER while u have it off change the plugs coils oil an airfilters to K&N then your good to go. parts an labor around 4500
The parts to rebuild the supercharger and replace those coolant lines is all together less than $500. You must be thinking of a timing chain tensioner/guide job also, but that job can be done much easier if you look on TH-cam for the easy way. You can do that job for about $600. It could be that for $4500 your talking about having the dealers screw you over.
That's actually the heater pipe. Crossover pipe is above the water pump. You dont have to remove the super charger completely. Just the upper half.
i've done this on the jag, more room but working blind without removing the intake manifold.
If the jar only had just a manifold. Easy. But if it has a supercharger, you have to remove the upper supercharger.

It's pretty hard, I'd say 7. The procedure is easy, but fitment and access is a challenge.

I did this to my 2010 Range Rover sport now it won’t start some times it starts most of the time it won’t start help

Leaks occur basically in the same spot. If it's water it's just ac. If it's coolant, yeah, probably the crossmember pipe.
What was the Part No for that Rear Cross over tube Assembly ?

yep i couldnt do it so ya dealer which i know i could have have got it done cheaper

There is no.just thing rebuilding the supercharger in Range Rover. Who ever told you that they are lying to you.
