We have seen a lot of 50mm RC EDF jets hit the market recently, but this one is by far the coolest, best looking one out there. Tip for the landings
If you Land an airplane you have to pull the throttle on maximum for one second before the Touchdown at the landing.
That gives you a bit of Speed to Land veeeeeeeeery smooth.
Just try IT with an aircraft without falps
The sound it produces is fantastic for a 50, and LOVE the L-39 silhouette!

Hey Nate & Abby! Nice looking edf. Nice that you keep your videos real! I get same results on my hand launcs, still a great time.
It’s not advertised but all of the arrows 50mm EDFs can actually run on 4s as I run all of mine on 4s. Much more enjoyable because they get FAST on 4s. I run 2200mah 4s packs in mine, some end up a hair nose heavy with that pack so I’d recommend a 1500-1800mah pack but highly recommend trying 4s in another video. Your hand launches will be easier also!😂
It runs on a 30 amp Esc , using a 4s pack could turn in into a nice $ 150 fireball, especially balls to the wall full throttle . 😩😩
@@georgesheptak5657 all of mine have been doing fine for a couple months now and there’s several videos on here of other people also running them on 4s🤷🏻♂️ I thought the same but took a shot and haven’t looked back.

These arrows seem to be best quality 50mm epo jets..definitely better quality then j power and sky angels i have imo..

It does look great in the air, & sounds good. Flew well after Nate made it eat grass😮 a few times.😂😂. Another reason to get a rail launcher. When coming in for a landing is it possible to nose up at the last Second & do more of a belly landing ❓️❓️. Great day for flying & Abby Having a good time ,and laughing. To be able to fly a jet this small using a large 2200 3s is fantastic...well thought out design..that 10 blade stock fan sounds amazing..i have an old screamer j power i built years ago installed a 10 blade sounds the same..crashed it many times and managed to fix and fly again over 12 times...i am pretty much better at fixing foam planes than anyone...many years of trial and error...crashed and destroyed dozens of planes..i do hate to crash..but being a foam whisperer makes it much better...😊

Its situations like this that being a lefty will be to my advantage in respects to hand launching.
Can you set up the spektrum AS3X/SAFE receiver with it to then bind to a DXE?
Yes you could do that, but might have to take a few extra steps. 👍💯⚓️

I wonder if, for an EDF like that, either an underhand launch or a side-arm launch would be better. Underhand, you end up releasing the jet in a nose-up attitude, so you get a bit more altitude to build up speed, and a side-arm tends to offer more speed at release.
I think my biggest hesitation on that model is no landing gear, since our flying field has no grass to belly in to. We have the asphalt runway, and we have rocky dirt. Otherwise, it looks like a fun jet.

Drake if you are considering the Freewing F-9 Panther do not hesitate any longer and go buy it. It is probably the best small Jet you could get. Mine has more than a 100 flights and never failed the expectations. 👍✈️

That nose looks too fragile for me. I have the viper on 4S 1500 batteries and I also added a rudder. Much easier to take off on 4S.

Good because of the price and the fact it has stabilization. There are better options, but more expensive too. 👍💯😎⚓️
I have no idea why the one I bought is totally different from yours...
1) nominal CG shown on instruction guide is not good, way too head heavy;
2) 3S 1300mah for hand launch seldom succeeds.
3) aileron, elevator travels so small - so plane movement is not accurate;
4) the built-in stabilizer is almost useless - I change to HobbyEagle.
So maybe what the factory sells differs from what they send for testing?

Do you fly in usa? Didfaa not bann all rc airplanes and only l8censed pilots can fly registered airplanes now? I used to fly back in the day even we were still free now I wouldn't desr I heard fines are 10k +.
I'm in the us and I fly all over the place, not just at flying fields. I have never once gotten flak. I had to cops drive up once and I thought they were going to say something but they said just there to watch!
@@traviscozza7177 dont have to warry about the cops u kess they notify faa or start shooting.... faa has teams dedicated for searching out rc fliers and fining them specially drones as they are easy to track down.
