Actually 🤓, it depends. If you give it more fuel in the way of a richer air to fuel mixture, it'll most likely be a faster car, unless it already had the optimal AFR (for power) of 12.6:1. Aka: Bigger injectors and a tune :D

He'd always laugh at people with their protein shakes that are just there to do cardio and a couple sets on light weight.

Growing from lifting is all about balancing stimulus with recovery from that stimulus. It becomes a lifestyle, the foods you eat, supplements you use, the variations of exercise you use, etc. And it will make you happier, more confident, healthier for the most part, more attractive, and obviously more physically capable. Almost like working a labor job but you use labor to shape the body. I’m trying to become a super strong deadlifter so I’m deadlifting consistently, increasing the intensity and weight slowly, and making sure I intake foods that help the body overall like collagen, foods high in vitamin d, and protein from red meat sources/eggs, milk for calcium, vegetables, rice and other carbs for training purposes/work as I used to have a labor job. It’d be pancakes drizzled in honey in the morning with eggs, or cheerios with eggs. That got me through my days as a concrete laborer that could rep out 500 effortlessly on deadlifts as a 5’10” 205lb guy. I’d cook it all up in a skillet.
When I did bodybuilding in the early to early 2000’s Mike was the aesthetic I was trying (I failed !) to achieve. His look to me was by far more appealing than of Dorian’s and Ronnie’s.

Ahh back when science and information was used to better the reader instead of over complicating and confusing them. Lift hard eat well consistently and boom you're set.
What some people may forget about this logic is hit volume. What mike did was 3-5 sets for a single muscle group and giving 3-4 days of rest. I.E. his body needing less protein as someone who is working 7 days a week. His body was recovering one muscle group at a time instead of all muscle groups.

The amount of macros you need depends upon what you do fir a workout. Do you run mostly, lift weights, high volume of cardio. Where your body's fitness level is at. What will work for one will not work for everyone. Also, too much protein can harm the kidneys.

I've read multiple studies in which people given 'roids and sitting on their asses gained significantly more muscle than people hitting the gym everyday (but without the aid). I worked out with my friends when they did their 2 cycles and continued to do so for 2 years after they were off of 'roids. It definitely wasn't "water bloat" à la creatine, as they didn't lose a thing. How the hell do you think pro athletes in a variety of sports are regularly able to put on 20 lbs. of muscle in a 12 week off season? There are plenty of people who can put on 5+ lbs.of muscle in month without any assistance. Moreover, I'm pretty sure the researchers performing the studies I mentioned know a little something about human physiology. It might be a bit of a stretch, but I'm thinking they just might know the difference between muscle tissue and water retention.
