I especially enjoyed the last bit from 2:55 on, where the narrator sort of breaks character - there’s something about satirical use of genuine honesty that I love so much.

Evan Murphy the 'abusive circumstances' are draconic by first world standards, but in the third world the options are work in a factory or don't work at all and those countries do not have socialized programs like healthcare or even food pantries. a while ago a 'sweatshop' in china being used by a clothing compaby was shut down by 'activists' and the entire population of the town went into poverty overnight. it literally didn't make a single person's life better. I'm not saying the questionable health and safety standards are good, but I will absolutely say they're infinitely better than any alternative available to the factory workers.
