I remember coming home from school and this show would come on right as I walked in, perfect timing. I have been watching how it’s made since 2005 and watched almost everyday til 2010. After that I became a adult and my work schedule didn’t line up with when it came on. I was so sad but this is 2022. I can watch online anytime. It’s the perfect unwind after a long day, A calming voice with a relaxing tempo to unwind and unplug. Another favorite is modern marvels which I too watched almost everyday
I work in a factory. High School guidance counselors should reconsider their opinion on this type of work. It’s fantastic! Good pay, quiet and consistent.

These that I use likely were made back in the 1930's or 40's. I do love this channel, the narrator's voice and subjects covered. Nothing like the TV channels today which really are bad. Shalom
Wire bending machine for grater handle bends wire complete. Next worker must spread open the handle to complete his step. Wasted labor. Program the wire bender to not bend the wire completely. Every little bit of time saved matters.
In the intros the “how it’s made” title plate is screwed onto the metal sheet behind it, and during the introduction the plate is then also welded onto the sheet it’s screwed onto, which begs the question: why would you screw something onto a metal sheet if you’re going to weld it anyway?

My major disappointment is that they didn't show the unidirectional grating holes but rather the omnidirectional ones which are obvious in how they are made.
This is the first time in 6 months, since my grandma passed, that I've seen this show. It brings me back to when I was younger we would always watch this together while she was watching me while dad was at work. It brings back so many bittersweet memories. Thanks for reading my rant.
