If I could ever say something to Christian personally, it would be: Thank you for making the best TV show I have ever watched, thank you for making Jinx relatable to people like me, thank you for composing Get Jinxed. Thank you thank you a million thank yous. You are a legend.

I know I'm two years late but this was such a great interview, very insightful, really wish it had more views. I have so much respect and admiration for these creators and the passion they put into the show, I think it really comes through the screen in the final product. The faith they had in this project is incredible, especially when looking back at it now that Arcane has been almost unanimously recognized as a masterpiece.

1:17:16 - Christian - Season 2 definitely was always this thing that made us go, "Hey, let's take them further. Let's explore the corners of their psyche, their characters or their identities that we just haven't seen yet. Let's really challenge them to break with their values and morals and go to places they've never been to." I'm excited about What we're doing in that regard. I guess I'm staying pretty micro-level here in my answer but I do think that was really necessary to do that, to take the characters further.
    CHILLS!

I just discovered Arcane a couple months ago and finally got around to watching the first few episodes and was quite literally blown away. So much so, I had to pause mid-episode (because I was about to have a heart attack) in order to research who the Creators are and HOOOOOOOW they created such a masterpiece! And now I’m here. This interview 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 bravo bravo bravo. As an illustrator and writer with dreams, this is very informative and inspiring. Thank you.

Funny how this pretty professional interview (well researched questions that give some wiggle room for answers, creating atmosphere that is comfortable yet serious, actually listening to the answers) has only about 2 K views, while five minute "interviews" with some weird hyperiding bloggers have several dozen times that number. Shows how messed up youtube algorithm is.

Focus Groups: For when you want your results to be exactly wrong.
Focus Groups: Infocal as it gets.
Focus Groups: The Wrong solution to _any_ problem.

In hindsight it makes a lot of sense considering how everything that goes through a focus group feels like a faceless corp made it. Thats said you really do want some way of getting feedback maybe follow christians: "if they identify a problem they are usually correct, if they propose a solutoin to it they are usually wrong" approach.

problem being, the focus groups are probably biased...
it's, now, either peoples who have an habit to candidate to be in one or peoples who are on a list of "usual suspects" and are contacted to be in one.
They know they have the power to axe a project AND, they have been formatted by the "executives". I mean, if a project that they did like is axed, they will being to rethink their opinion and slowly, conform to the tastes of the "executives"... both willingly and without thinking, because they wish to still be part of the panel for the next project, so they learn what please the boss...

Sounds to me like that focus group that gave their take on the show were a bunch of pretentious bozos.
    Totally incorrect
