Perfect video, very instructive and inspiring.
Piwowarsky had the best looking red turquoise discus in the world when he first started breeding more than a decade ago.
Those first fish were really special in terms of colour and shape.
It is with great sadness that we are now seeing these unnaturally shaped fish coming from the same breeder. The colours are still nice but the body shape and in particular bulging head and the pointy mouth section is disappointing to say the least.

May I ask what that water filter is you have? I’m on well water and have two pre filters for the house but want to get something like what you have to put after my sink downstairs to get additional filtration to remove extra sediment and rust

Does the water go inside the logs? If so, how do you clean them ?

The logs on the background have one pump each to force water circulation. The individual logs, the water goes out/in on the log bottom during the weekly water change.

Are you planning any driftwood or plants? How big were your discus when you bought them?

yes I will put some simple trunks but nothing too big. The discus came as seen... semi-adults
