I have also experienced frequent steering wheel disconnection from the console during a race. But then I figured it out, the design of the power cable connector does not securely fix the cable to the steering base, I always check it before turning it on and the problem is solved ... The cable is very hard and over time it pulls the connector out of the base socket.

Just ordered the wheelbase only to go with my existing wheels and t-lcm pedals. Will do untill T818 direct drive GT7 equivalent arrives.

Was tempted to upgrade the t300rs but might wait to see what dd thrustmaster put out on ps5

I've never had any issues with disconnecting on mine and have had it around 2 years now.

@tjrmsim thanks for the vid! what do you recommend between TGT2 and Gt dd pro? Mostly play GT7 at the moment.

Man that’s a tuff one. They both produce same 8 NM of torque. The GT DD should be smoother although I have not got one yet to test. I do use a Accuforce DD wheel though that is really good for PC.
The TGT2 in my opinion gives a better immersion experience because of the transducer that is excellent for GT7. The downside is the pedals. Even spending extra for the load cell pedals like I did they are still far behind the feel of the Fanatec V3 pedals. That’s of course if you spring for the upgrade in either scenario. Overall considering just base models with no intention of upgrade I would lean to the Thrustmaster. If you want to upgrade later I would get the Fanatec as their upgrades are actually worth it I’m comparison. Hope this helps. If you choose Fanatec consider using my affiliate link to help the channel. Have fun

Have the same set up with same sparco wheel. Upgraded from t300 and worth it. Personally got sick of waiting for the DD for ps5. Also have VR2 and H8 haptic feedback seat. That and the transducer is so immersive. Can I ask what settings do you run in terms of force feedback and sensitivity. Thanks

For GT7 I ran 7 for FF and 6 for sensitivity.
Yeah it was a fun setup for sure.

    Someone Help plz.
I have a T300 with this same Sparco Rim and a sturdy cockpit.
My t300 sometimes loses a bit of Force Feedback after Prolonged play times.. how much better is the TgT 2 over the T300?
    Is it worth the upgrade?
Or is a Pedal upgrade better?

The T-GT II is almost twice as strong as the T300, the transducer is the biggest difference honestly. I have both and the T-GT is definitely better. But honestly I'd buy direct drive if you have a T300. The T-LCM pedals are great as well. I have the Asetek La Prima for when I'm on PC but still love the thrust master gear for PS5 and PS3 racing

    Hi!
I recently bought the Tgt2. It's my first steering wheel and I'm lost.
I have managed to assemble everything, insert the drivers... Windows reads the peripheral correctly and in games it seems to detect it well.
The problem is that THE FFB doesn't work. It is as if it were a controller without any resistance or vibration. Completely flat.
PS: in games it is activated.
    Where is the problem?

Are you using on PC or ps5. Make sure you have the correct mode selected on the wheel. Check out the instructions that state which color you see on the mode light for each. Red is Playstation but I'm tginkjng it's white for pc. I forgot for sure so double check.

I HONESTLY don't see toooooo much difference between the t300 and the GT2 given the price.
I own both and clearly the GT2 IS BETTER. Have to ask if the price if worth it.
If you're on more of a budget to set up a rig avoid the GT2 BASE and turn your focus on the shifter and things like a clixbeetle for the shifter and a weighted knob. Also the load cell TLCM pedals and the t300 will generally do alright. If you wana step it up depending on the game you play get the f1 wheel or the sparco if you're a rally guy.
All end all the Gt2 to me is solid. I need to hold on tight and watch my hands from not getting jacked up when I crash in wrc. Direct drive meh never tried it never needed to coz this does a fantastic job

Hi! Have you tried the TGT II with F1 games is it better than playing with the T300 or it is almost the same FFB and detail?
      Thank you

@@CKracer86 in my sincere opinion unless you like playing near or on max FFB settings then there is a difference. However if you're using the T300 and have a few things dialed back anyway coz 100% is too much then you don't need the GT2. Yes ofcourse if you want the maximum amount of FFB then yeah the GT2 WILL give to that. However also keep in mind it will also very much depend on the game. As an example I played a ton of WRC Generations and max vibration was shaking my entire rig. Then I tried EA WRC and max vibration was like 1/10th of the force.
