I have seen The Cure 3 times, you REALLY have to be there.. this song blows you away! Back in 1983 I never imagined I would have The Cure on my IPod in 2012.....
llike rolls of carpet surrounding me in laughter and feelings that I'll never know again. I was front row for this. I met them. Even Lawrence. Omg. I miss it.
unfuckablemagic, genius.love 4 you is timeless like roberto woud said yor simpley elegant, and so more, more more then that...ADDICTION OF DUPLICITY THE EVOLUTION IS STARTING....by the way
@uglyguido One, that song is just a three years younger than disintegration and two look up the albums BLoodflowers(2000) and 4:13 Dream(2008) he didn't completely leave music like this behind because those newer albums are full of it. and they're working on another album right now
@langlokken Yes, thats what is being said. lol And it isn't really far fetched either considering 4:13 Dream was in 2008. Too bad the person I wrote that comment for ignored it. Guess they will stay ignorant. Oh well, they're missing out XD
what a difference a drummer can make. Just compare the drummer in 1992, 1993 with this new drummer... the new one plays lifeless & boring. He looks like "i'm bored. i wanna go home"
I have watched just about every version of this masterpiece and seen it performed live. This has to be the absolute worst. Slow, dull and only Simon G seems to have energy. Not sure what RS was on that night but thank god he no longer presents himself in this condition
Roberts vocals are absolutely beautiful in this version ❤️

His pleading voice just cuts me tomy soul. Love when RJS comes in at 6:25 with his guitar, such passion.

The torture is particularly exquisite in your voice tonight, for this song, appropriately.
@stihlheader When Boris left in 1993, The Cure went down and down more and more...
sounds just as amazing as the record- his voice!
Absolutely Brilliant!

@MattVehemety642 - the are ? This year? 2011?
This sound mix is terrible,
this is the beginning of the end of the cure as a great live and studio band, smith sacked perry and roger should have sacked jason...
And here in 2020 they are better now than ever!

it's not only the drummer the problem... bass & guitar sound have become ugly, with a shitty-cheapy distorsion. 2004 was the limit.
what a boring drummer, we miss you boris williams
Who is that guitarist? He doesn't fit in The Cure!
Perry Bamonte.
