Just watched your video on the J-cd-19. I just replaced the impeller on a Gale (same motor) that originally had a metal impeller housing and took the larger impeller that you have. My local vintage parts guy had the plastic replacement housing and smaller impeller in stock and assured me it worked better than the original. It fits on fine but I have yet to run it. Anyway, without having the metal housing, you’ll need to use the smaller impeller. Hope this helps
some where there is OMC service buliton that show the part no for that small impeller and housing, just came acros your video and enjoy them. worked on outboards from 1955 till 2000. went to OMC while i was with the AirForcce water servicce school..sure injoyed your videos.
