Sandstorm also is A tier dude. You’re forgetting a crucial fact: DoT mods HEAL YOU off weapon leech. Sandstorm, death chains, and ravenous locust all heal you a percentage of your weapon leech. Since they all do so much damage compared to your health bar they heal you a TON even if you have no gun damage at all. And sandstorm is the best one because it gives you the most consistent duration per activation with 5 seconds giving you a lot of healing when you aren’t even shooting so keeping you alive even if you’re frozen for one example. It’s AoE damage too so it heals you a ton on its own with adds massed. Honestly sandstorm after the damage buff is S tier dude. It’s less damage than claymore torrent now but does come closer now and like I said heals you a TON. Certainly A tier still
claymore no difs string of gauss because string of gauss does no damge to a boss if theres no adds it doesnt damage the initial target just stuff around it where as claymore does the seismic stomp mod is actually really good it can stagger or break armor on enemies allowing for cc (alphas and brood mothers who give themselves that cc blocking armor effect) and it does a solid chunk of dmg in a nice aoe ive seen mine do up to 1.1mil on enemies debuffed on my techno if you want a good just raw damage from mods backup wep an lmg w seismic and claymore (either lmg then slap the other mod on) is amazing for just close range massive dmg similar to the funeral pyre (shadow comet) claymore shotty for just nuking elites w the mods and debuffs theres armor mods for aoe dmg just every few seconds and when u use skills you can combo all this into a tanky anomaly powered status debuff build on most classes using skills to dmg and debuff then the mods to just deal heaps of aoe and staggering dmg to anything as you just feed them the gun (and face tank if your a techno) i know the meta seems like certain sets and builds but ive been messing around and finally cleared eye of the storm solo w something like this a sorta weird off meta setup this games build potential is staggeringly high and i think hasnt been fully tapped yet
Potato mod. I just came back to Outriders after a long long hiatus as I am somewhat optimistic about the potential changes. I am glad that my favourite guns on my Trickster aren't totally useless months later(Stormwhip+Ultimate Stormwhip)
it seems like the anomaly powered builds are going to be getting buffed while firepower builds will stay the same seeing how good but not overpowered they are. Oh yeah I don't think they'll be touching those mods seeing how well they work :)
My guy how long ago did you make this video, which is great, but most of these mods have had reworks. And dmg-link OP on anomaly and firepower builds, does like 35-55mil dmg every run for me

Agree with Most. But Jugment Enforcer is grazy good(for Pyromancer). 1 Millionen Weapon Bonus +75% Dark Sacrifice +75% Heatwave I do some tests and its grazy(with SMG). No Skill Weapon Buff needed...cooldown/reload doesnt matter. Yea true no area dmg etc., but as Pyromancer with Firestorm Map Clear Build its funny and fast kills. Iam not done with my Tests, but i will show😉(extrem fast way to kill Elites/Bosses).

Do you believe there is a bug with string of gauss? You rated it higher than claymore, however I placed both string of gauss and claymore torrent on the same weapon, claymore did 30m while gauss did 5m on a CT 14. Curious if you tested this and found different?
nah claymore is stronger straight up specially for single targets. it seems to hit multiple times per enemy, i think its the number of blades but im not sure but it does melt elites and gauss has trash damage to begin with. Also this video is good and i might not agree with all of them still a good guide. Also what's not considered is the weapon the mod exist. Damascus is more useful in builds than bolt and thunder that means u can slot another t3 on it and make it your main weapon.

@@DIVINEGAMES I have never achieved the damage numbers from the trickster that everyone else seems to get. After horizon I switched to borrowed time and the armour gave me the defence to keep up with every other high dps player, but still... I don't know wtf I am doing wrong. 🤣.

Strings of gauss in A tier? Even with its buff now that’s ridiculous lol. It doesn’t WORK on the person you’re shooting remember making it’s damage COMPLETELY situational. It never damages the person getting shot and so always requires groups. A decent B tier for a secondary or pistol I think. But S tier? Show me the idiot using this routinely as their primary lol. Now claymore torrent before was much worse indeed and only useful as a permanent mod on Damascus offering you could pair with something better like shadow comet. But NOW with its 2 second cool down its S tier for absolute sure. It literally has the same dps as ultimate stormwhip but with AoE (meaning it’s superior too and ultimate Storm whip deserves a buff now). It’s easily the best raw damage focused mod of all the T3s now. Doesn’t require crits or kills and does good AoE damage with a tiny cool down. I use it on tank focused builds all the time for easy large damage output especially when it still gets its damage buffed by any debuffs on enemies or status bonus mods.
Potato mod. I bit outdatet with the recent changes. Bad luck bro. Other than that cool list. But for a gun build there is just a few options. Rest is utter crap. 1. DS 1.Ultimate freeze/or that mids that freeze on crit. 2. BS 3.Fortress for shotguns

Okay so then what would you recommend for "the best" tecnomancer assault rifle with mods
Tier 2 mod bone shrapnel with tier 3 winter blast while using the borealis set. Personally that’s what I think is the best set up
