Idk about CP3 being able to stay on the court, but nonetheless this is good for the Spurs simply because having him around would provide veteran leadership and guidance for the guards. Excellent move, but I don't think this takes them over the top just yet. Reality is that they need somebody better than 39 year old CP3, so their hunt for a high IQ pass-first pg who can also space the floor is still on-going. Spurs are still missing a pf who can guard 1-4 like AG. Once they get that, then the Spurs can be looked at as contenders.
CP3 will be the Spurs' coach inside the court... even if they don't get into playoffs or play in, the experience he'll bring is surely a significant part of their young team's build-up. It's not that CP is gonna immediately gonna make that offense click, it's that he is a culture builder. Look what he did to Booker and SGA for example. If he can transwer some wisdom like that to the guys on the Spurs roster, they will benefit from having him for 1 or 2 years in the future.
CP3 (6'1) 37% from 3 Stephon Castle (6'6) 27% from 3 Devin Vassell (6'7) 37% from 3 Jeremy Sochan (6'8) 31% from 3 Wemby (7'4) 33% from 3 not a lot of outside shooting and pure scoring, but definitely a fuck ton of playmaking and player movement, as well as a MASSIVE amount of defensive talent. The Spurs might just be a dark horse for the playoffs..
CP3 with Wemby is scary... and him mentoring Juan Nuñez even more, arguably the best pnR guard in this year's draft and a well underrated pick from the Spurs. He'll learn and take that PG pairing with Wemby over soon... As an OKC Fan I am happy atm, but if there's 1 team I am scared of, it is the future Spurs'. I am sure that such a well run organisation won't fumble the talent of Wemby...

The hidden genius is definitely the development of Stephon Castle. Kid gets drafted as a guard to play with Wemby and then all of a sudden gets CP3 to learn from on Day 1?! Absolutely insane move by the Spurs. Maybe even more hidden is that now Sochan will truly get to develop in the role he fits best instead of having any ball handling responsibilities whatsoever.
I had NO idea CP3 is coming to the Spurs. Wow, can't wait till next season starts. I'm gonna watch every Spurs game. No kidding.
3:08 idk why I find this funny 😂 I’m afraid to see what this kid (if healthy) will look like in year 3 or 4
It's not that CP is gonna immediately gonna make that offense click, it's that he is a culture builder. Look what he did to Booker and SGA for example. If he can transwer some wisdom like that to the guys on the Spurs roster, they will benefit from having him for 1 or 2 years in the future.
Watching Spurs games ABSOLUTELY INFURIATED me last season... His teammates were really against him, I'm convinced
The ending bruh
CP3 (6'1) 37% from 3
Stephon Castle (6'6) 27% from 3
Devin Vassell (6'7) 37% from 3
Jeremy Sochan (6'8) 31% from 3
Wemby (7'4) 33% from 3
not a lot of outside shooting and pure scoring, but definitely a fuck ton of playmaking and player movement, as well as a MASSIVE amount of defensive talent.
No videos on OKC? Nasty work
Chiiilll OKC will get at least a video probably 2. Dw im covering everything over the next few weeks
Chris McCartney Upton is coming to my house sometime after July 12th because I ordered a basketball hoop, new ball, and solar light to shoot hoops at night! We’re gonna have fun! Smoke marijuana, and have drinks! SIK Gym! Dads are same! These kinds of people! Biiiiig bubble! Sayula Ibarra that’s real deep…
The good part of this cp3 is not fitting for his up coming career his willing to give up his stats to give wemby any night glad to see
CAN'T WAIT
Last young guy CP3 took under his wing was Devin Booker. Get out of here with that Shai stuff. All the stuff you mentioning about CP3’s last endeavors with all the accolades was the damn Phoenix Suns! Did you skip the last 4 years?!
aight that was a crazy statement to walk off on with LMAOOO
Calling it now: CP3 and Wemby get off to a flier while Harden mentally checks out as Kawhi misses a few games at the start. Clippers see this as an opportunity to get some picks and Kawhi gets traded to the Spurs. Kawhi leads them into the playoffs and maybe even a series win(or three)
Imagine the dream scenario where Kawhi gets 3x FMVP, Spurs fans love him again and 3 rings, CP0rings no more, Wemby puts the world on notice
