- The Ducati Panigale V4R is the flagship superbike in Ducati's line-up and the bike that dominated much of the World Superbike Championship. Earlier this year, Donovan Fourie and Robert Portman went to Red Star Raceway to find out just how special this motorcycle is.

I think one of my favorite things about this bike ( besides the insane beauty) is the fact that they went with a mechanically adjustable suspension not the electronic version. That is a great idea.
I'm lucky enough to own one of these and it's everything they say it is. Absolutely fantastic! a track weapon.

I just bought it and haven't been able to ride it because they are putting a ton of parts on it from Motomillion.com, but in a week I will get on that baby and make moves!

Amazing bike, and beautiful too. More bike than I could ever afford, or be able to use. Guess I'll have to stick to pottering around on my Triumph Speed Twin !

The s has a different engine.
I have converted many Ducati Ohlins electronic rear shocks back to manual and it always makes a big positive difference. It is quite inexpensive to do. The front conversion is a bit more expensive.
Does those wings makes any difference in speed and aerodynamics? Just b'coz the engine fairing completely tucks the legs, and front visor reduces air drag between rider and the bike.
I used to own a Panigale 899 and it was an amazing bike. I hope I can afford a V4S at some point.

Bautista came in with a bang and went out with a loose. He ended his contract after the 1st year. Championship isn't won in the 1st 11 races. Yes he was new the the Championship but Davies wasn't even in the picture the whole Championship. Ducati in all it's "magnificent" still lost to a supposedly inferior ZX10RR. Talking about the manufacturer points in WSBK and not a individual rider.

Wings aren't no use at all on a road bike! They only included them for homologation reasons. They do look like a list minute add on, and I'd have them removed and put safely in a box.
I don't know why Ducati claim such ridiculous horsepower figures 234hp? 😅 I know they mean at the crank but this bike puts down under 200bhp or just about 200bhp at the back wheel on a dyno! Which is nuts! Very impressive dont get me wrong but a 2020 BMW s1000rr with 207bhp claimed at the crank put down 196bhp at the back wheel and thats being euro 5 emissions strangled!! Most new 1000cc bikes put down the same power with a exhaust system on than that Ducati for so much cheaper?! But the Ducati is the sexiest bike out there I must say 😍

Check 650ib channel for the real HP number and all about Ducati v4r , btw it only hit 200 hp
204 whp is about 230 or so crank and given dyno variation the actual bike power may be anywhere for 220 to 240. The more important thing about 650ib's numbers are the huge midrange difference... for the street the speciale is clearly the bike to go with (unless you're 650ib and spend all your time drag racing on interstates).
@@kuhndj67 LOL! I"ve owned a V4 Speciale with the 1103cc engine and I still prefer the 998cc engine in my R. It's a totally different feeling, regardless of the HP and TQ number.

Way too expensive. You can go Japanese litre bikes and they’re all perform similar more or less. Not to mention parts and maintenance is also cheaper. You got Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda killing it in motogp and Kawasaki in WSBK. When it comes to bikes, who the fuck do these European brands think they are, they don’t even make it in the big leagues.
I think man has known for about 100 years that wings do work so why did it take so long and why are seemingly so impressed? I like the bike though.

William nah he was going on the limit since the season started that’s why he was on top the first half until he crashed. The Ducati is not a smooth bike as the Japanese bikes so he had to ride it aggressively to be on the top and that’s what made him crash.
If Jonny Rea so good, why hasn’t he made it to MotoGP?
@@michaelfala9145 because he won't ride a 2nd tier bike. In the wild card rides that he did get he finished as high as 7th at Assen. I'm not saying Alvaro is not good but he had the best bike and Rea still beat him that makes Rea better.
