This auction is an annual event which happens the first Friday of July! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
man, that 62' Ford was a deal, I would have bid more for that
Agreed
The entire lower cab sheetmetal needed completely rebuilt, but still, bargain city on that truck
Agreed, the truck was very well bought and a guy like me who is halfway good with metal will have fun doing that work
So if Puddin gets president and if Mortzke is his Vice President then Mr. Goodpliers would have to be Speaker of The House! 😂😂😂
and you his press agent lol
@@christopherenglish3172 not worthy!!!😂😂😂
I'm sure it would be an improvement.
I love that 62 Ford 4X4, I was born in 62 and I've always wanted a Truck from my birth year, and a 40s Diamond T or an International in the 2 ton range, I love watching these videos Thank You Mr Goodpliers
My hats off to you ,travelling to Macon Missouri. I'm a delivery driver out of Kansas City and had to travel to Kirksville through Macon last week. It's a heckuva long drive just from Kansas City. It must be close to 14 hours roundtrip from Wichita. I swear you could see Sasquatch in some of those thick woods between Macon and Kirksville.
When Ford pickup brought 2,700 bucks, my jaw hit the floor!😧
I could not believe it either. What a deal.
Right you are
It had a $800 set of 1966 Bronco hubcaps on it too 😵
The whole cab floor needed totally rebuilt with all new sheetmetal, but still, what a bargain
I'm glad it isn't closer, .....I'd be tempted to buy a couple more vehicles I don't really need. Thanks for the video though, it's always nice to see what's going on in other areas.
Wish I had the time & money to be @ one of these auctions. Thanks for all the great content Mr Goodpliers.cheers from sth Australia 🇦🇺 👍
Those old artifacts are great collector item. 💯👍
Thank you for taking us along to the Mo auction
Thank you for the chance to see real prices in the heartland. Living in central NY state we can't find vehicles like these much.
I live in Denver and prices in this area are also very high compared to the Midwest
The old paper maps are cool. Several years ago, I was buying quite a few like these that were mostly all prior to 1960. I like that time frame because
the maps were just starting to show the construction of the Interstate Highway system. It was interesting to see what the roads looked like before the
interstates were put in place. My collection has been tucked away (along with a bunch of old T.V. Guide magazines) in storage - maybe someday I will
pull them out to look them over......or, when I pass away, someone will find them again in an auction of my old stuff.
Great indoor auction with lots of nice cars, trucks and motor bikes. My favourite was the 1972 Sedan deVille. Also liked the '71 Hornet as I have a soft spot for AMC. I would have liked the '09 Challenger if it was equipped with a 6 cylinder, not a performance buff.
That vintage art deco work bench was by far, the best deal at this auction!!
That Monte was a steal at $3900.
At the time stamp of 49:02, your brochure of this car shown was a rig that Brent from halfass kustoms did a chop on it. At the time he had brought it back, I was just horrified at his wanting to chop the top by four inches! NO, DON'T DO IT I SCREAMED! So when he chopped it four inches, I was sick to my stomach but when done.....Lord howdy..... it turned out beautiful and it looked like they should all of been done this way as it just made it where the top was still way good for your tallest person that may drive it. All said and done, I still don't care for chopped tops on most rigs, this is the exception... check out some of his videos on it Tim and you just might agree.. it did not, repeat again, DID NOT LOOK like a chop, as it just made it look so darn nice! I know that you know him, possibly met him and so know its the right thing to do at or on some vehicles.
Hi from the UK excellent video , i am subscribed.
That $500 Montego looked like a bargain to me if the body was solid as it appeared. I'm a mechanic so towing it in don't scare me and I've got a nice 429 lookin for a new home
I was surprised that you did not get the 1000$ T. Now that you commented I understand why you let it go. I bet I would have bought the 49 Jeep. I think some Jeep enthusiast in Europe might have had a heartattack seeing how cheap it went. I drove one of those in the Army in winter. Nobody wanted to drive it. It is to cold driving those Jeeps in snowstorms
The Corvair was an absolute steal! Wow, that was a great price for a well preserved car. Corvair's are not that hard to work on, American Volkswagen really.
The Ford retractable hardtop was also sold very, very cheap. I would have bought the Corvair in a heart beat. DANG! Loved the coverage, Thanks!
all of them other than (maybe) the Corvette I'd say. I have a feeling this was an event which does not bring out the car crowd but the memorabilia collectors.
The Corvette was also very well bought. I’d leave the 350 in there, super reliable especially with HEI ignition. I have three of these engines in various vehicles, all rock solid excellent runners
@@patdesrosiers6423 yeah, if you have 70K laying around!
I fully understand that late model cars aren't in Mr. Goodplier 's focus nor that of many of the great subscribers to his channel. However, a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT (6.1L) with a salvage title due to it being a repo from an unpaid debt and no record of damage...for $9,500? I don't believe one can buy that much muscle for that low amount anywhere anymore. I'm going to have to start watching for more of these auctions if they are giving away these particular cars.
There were some dents on it - this was a theft recovery. It was a 14 year old car, far from perfect, but something a guy wouldn't be scared to drive and enjoy
You can bet the farm it had issues beyond what you can see. I'd assume it's had a hard life if it had a branded title & was repo'd, theft recovery, etc.
Down at same town I would be at in late July for their flywheel show at the fair grounds
Enjoyed your commentary, agreed 100%, I also collect auto nameplates, and have many, so the salesman deal was VERY cool!
Great video buddy, keep it up and I'll keep watching.
So gutted about that 1972 caddy it is exactly what I am looking fo and the price seemed spot on .
I couldn't believe some of the prices that the cars went for so cheap I was shocked
The more I watch i realize there is mainly tirekickers in the audience. The prices of some rough pickups that you can use as workhorses or the 49 Jeep are ridiculously low.
Enjoyed the video. What's going on with the quality? 360 the highest.
Very good video thank you for the video
Great prices for the buyers.
we dont have death marking highway signs in Canada..WOW harsh but not a bad idea..P.S wonder what that sign would sell for here?..OH ya great job!!
The smalls brought good money if you go again you should bring some of your smalls you have a few
Great video 👍
No bargain on the 1957 corvette.
I would be super happy with the 72 chev 4wd, 67-72 are the best. Tim I am a 4wd drive guy up here in Michigan. Wood haulers delight
Awesome.
Sir Great bargains! I am jealous.
I dont live that far from that auction house. That cool close to home. Scotties do a hell of a good job on the auction. Love his sales.
Yes that was cool
Most vehicles very well bought for much less than they were fixed up for. That’s how to go unless the build is the goal, as with me. A buddy bought a very nice restomod 57 Chevy for 35K. No way a guy could build it for that. Thanks for bringing this to us so far from your home. I hope the work van is a good one
Wow I coulda got a model T for 1,000. And I would also buy that Montego for 500. The Corvair was a steal at that 4,000. Impressed with the deals here.
As soon as I saw the rust buckets I knew they would go cheap but some of these I would of bought. In fact about a dozen of them.
Some good deals on the cars an trucks
Don't pre-1958 Chevy small blocks have front motor mounts, Afterwards the motor mounts were the side mount sandwich.
Other great cars for a young person who wants to get involved with classic cars: The 63 Corvair or the beautful blue Montecarlo.
Some cars sold strong, but many went under value: The 1951 Chevy truck for example. The Hornet sedan would make a perfect first vehicle for a teenager. Four doors make it easy to bring some friends along. And if maintained well it will not loose any value.
It makes me wonder if the vehicles actually sold.
81 was the best bet for a 27 T for one that restored...You blew it.
WoW!
My dad fought in the Phillipines in WW2 as well.
Amigo Buena-Pila, hace un video personal contando que es lo que te esta padando y capaz alguien te puede dar una mano, y si no por lo menos hacer catarcis. Abrazos desde la Argentina Peronista y mucho animo buena salud.
My fav was the 32 Chevy and 57 Ford Thunderbird.
You mean the Fairlane Skyliner
Just based on walk-around in Pt 1 and 2023 reality, 62 Ford, 73 Sedan Deville, 63 Corvair (at a minimum) were very well bought. There were others that I thought were well bought minus the “very”. This auction is BaT circa 2018.
at 16 i got my dl in a 50 dodge standard relaible csr
That was a deal … $1000 for a very solid looking T
If the 1984 Ford pickup is not an absolute rustbucket someone made a great bargain.
I be dag gone there actually selling decent cars for real world prices several went thru I'd bin glad to of paid the final bid for
Those Prices were way under the money, some deals there for sure
Crazy good bargains - the one time I'm 7 hours from home with no car trailer 😣
Pretty sure that jeep was a CJ5, not a CJ7. The curve in tub at the door is indicative of a CJ5.
I wasn't certain on that one - I believe it's the first AMC Jeep I've found on the channel
Never heard of this auction
It's a good one. Well worth attending
adding 30% for taxes and byers premium adds up
I would DDrive that Monte
great deals compared to California prices
I'm surprised you didn't buy that model T for $1,000 I wish I was there n I would of bought it myself 😆
It was pretty rough. Seat cushions were gone. The main decision making factor was that a young guy was bidding on it, so I backed off.
The 1920-30 car market is pretty soft right now - it's amazing how much car you can get for $3000 to $6000.
I'm still actively on the hunt - stay tuned!
@@mr.goodpliers6988 oh that's Cool n let younger Generation get into it n ya I have a few n I'm getting my Grandkids into it too n they like it
The 32 Chevrolet, if a true Confederate should have had chrome headlights, hood vents and cowl lights.
looks like the vehicles brought all they were worth except the corvette which brought 3 times its worth
The 62 Ford truck and Mercury car should have been more $.
🗿That retractable top57 Ford Fairlane seemed to have been bought rite. I'm sure that guy triples his investment when he sells it 🌘🌒 Thanks Tim, enjoy the auction barking

Same cars you had on a previous video.
This was a two part: #1 was the walk around, and #2 was sale footage.
Any time there's over an hour of footage, I break them into extra videos
7k for a clean Jeep wow
some bargains there
Steals WTH? wow. Fan of the Dodge Military, The High boy Ford with a 390 was a bargain just wow
1800 for that old Dodge? Low low prices.
Driver and other guy shot and killed each other. Also killed a woman and shot two other women 😢😢😢
all these bargains but you didn t buy anything
These vehicles in better condition than what he usually buys.
70000 for a non original corvette--what a fool
Easiest part of that car to change - sell the 350 to recoup a chunk of the cost, or find another cool old car and start a new project with it!
Will this was a waste of my time he didn't show the 1970 chevy pickup he just skipped past it
The vehicles are going very cheap!!!
