Hey everyone, sorry about the big gap between videos. I got back from my trip north about 10 days ago. I decided to just do the first trip all as one video which took some time to edit and then took around 36hrs to upload ! Anyways it's done now, hope you enjoy it.
I have a few more videos from my trip to the Pilbara after this and then hopefully back to some south coast missions which I'm really hanging out for. The weather on the south coast has been terrible lately and we have a 9m swell rolling though in a few days! which is why I like to make a trip north each winter to mix things up and get some better weather.
Haven’t watched it all yet, just saw you step in the hole. Did you find out what the chopper was doing?

Lovely to have such a long vid Gido. Longer the better. Outstanding country up in the Pilbara, I was afraid you might have stood on a Stonefish in that little tidal gully when crab spotting. Are there no crocs in the Pilbara? Hell of a lot of sharks to make up for the lack of crocs. Lol. Can’t wait for the next episode. Cheers from Bundy.

Hey Tee, yes I was a bit nervous of stonefish in that creek too. Tried to drag my feet a bit and look where I was walking. No crocs or extremely rare in the Pilbara. That start about 800km north east from where I was
I had to change M's to ft's... 29 foot swell is enormous!
Best fishing channel going. No bs just pure fishing and being one in nature.

@@unknownn1210 we only take what we need for a feed in Australia. And most of us only like to eat fresh fish. So will go out every week or two. Instead of catching a heap and freezing it. Most fish tastes way worse after being frozen. And also could you imagine carting that out from some of the places gido goes ?

I found your best cave for camping and fishing video yesterday and I insta subcribed. The thing is I don't go fishing or barely eat any fish ever, but the way you present your videos and you make them so interesting, the way you go on dangerous places for the sake of doing what you love and capturing those moments blew me away. This was beautiful. It's like a documentary where we see what's living under there. The fishing was amazing.
Of all the places I've seen u fish, this place has the most interesting/happening diversity and action: 2 whales, numerous sharks, dolphins, manta barracuda plus a whole lot of others... what a fun place, with so much going on! The sharks are exciting to watch
This is on my bucket list. Channels like this have really made me want to travel that way one day when I have the means. Catching cobra off of big rays is globally loved but want to hook up with a gt and would love to get a big coral trout one day. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us all

The Indigenous rock art of the ibis was an awesome find!!! And the fish with spear! Hard to see the lizard, but still great find. And the sea turtle 🐢 of course! Nice.

AWESOME trip! Love the variety of different fish that you come across. Very similar to Florida in many ways aside from the cod(although they remind me of our fish here in the 'Grouper' family). How about that chopper? Man, can't seem to be able to get far enough away from it with the 'state of things' and all the war-talk these days. Anyhow, it's always great to see you doing your thing- cliffs, islands... whatever, it's ALWAYS a blast. And like the old saying goes, a bad day fishing is better than a good day at the job! Hello from Utah! Another Great Gido Adventure! It was nice to see your solar gear for a multi-day adventure. It looks like a 100w solar setup? Much more conducive than hauling enough electricity for a multi-day trip. I've found the 63w BigBlue solar charger with 2 x 26800mAh Charmast thin battery packs the perfect size for my river trips. BTW... My fav of your adventures are those that require multi-skill competence to complete (i.e., spelunking, angling, climbing, etc). Thanks for taking us on your Great Adventures!

It seems like he leaves a lot of good collar meat when he cuts his filets. And by the way, I notice these Kiwis pronounce filet phonetically rather than the French way that we do here in the US.
