I know in my heart that God who created this infinite universe did not subjected mercy and salvation upon crime against humanity in the killing Jesus a blameless prophet of the God.
Killing Jesus goes against the very nature of the God, therefore Islam makes far more sense to those who are thinking.

Allah Almighty makes it perfectly clear that those superior are those who have more taqwa (god fearing consciousness) In Islam, men and women do not have equal rights, but their rights are different because of their nature. Their rights are equally balanced. To be continued

There are currently 37different versions/readings/Qira'ats/ Qurans that exist in the world today.
Among all these different Qira'ats, there is an overwhelming 93,000 differences.
The one chosen to be the standard Qira'at was Hafs, in 1924. Hafs was a student/transmitter who died in 796 AD. He lived in Kufa.
Futhermore, Hafs was not even one of the 'Readers', nor did he live alongside the prophet Muhammad, nor during the time of King Uthman
A Qira'at, in regards to the Quran, is an iteration of the text done by a group of scholars; there were 30 popular ones in Islam.
10 were ‘official readers’ and another 20 were students who worked underneath the readers, known as ‘transmitters’.
They were responsible for looking closely into the 'rasm' (The skeletal structure of the text) and then determined where to put dots and vowels into different places.

@MCVXtreme Muslims, during the pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj), perform Tawaf around the Kaba seven times as a rite of Hajj.
The stone is kissed prior to commencing Tawaf (circumambulation) and each time one rounds the Kaba it is recommended the black stone is kissed (if possible). It was a practice of Muhammad (pbuh) and Muslims do it in order to emulate the last Prophet of God (Muhammad, pbuh).Muslims do not worship this stone. Kissing does not constitute worship. To be continued

It amazes me that people just can't accept the fact that there is no personal God out there. It's like people have to find something, whether it be any religion, and become part of it. It saddens me to see that so many people follow these ancient traditions blindly, ignoring science. There can be happiness without blindly following religion.

Islam does not call for violence or terrorism at all. It calls for solidarity and friendship among the people. To learn more about this wonderful religion read the QURAN. It is simply a religion of brotherhood and love. That calls for peace and justice among the people, and several other things. I repeat once again read the QURAN to know The remarkable truth about Islam. AND I AM A MUSLIM

Muhammed is just a messenger and a man. He is not above man unlike Christianity where a man becomes God. Why there was no need for a son of God for entire existance of humanity except last two thousand years? Is it fair with the victom that a perpretrator gets away with the attrosities just because the perpetrator believes that somebody already paid price for his attrocities? You need to use your intelligence to come out of things that do not make any sense.

The Qur'an is NOT a science book; it is PRIMARILY a divine book of guidance for all mankind for all places and for all times. Its message is relevant and dynamic and no one who really understands Islam and it's scrupture would actually speak in shallow tones as you do, with all due respect.

i would really like it if there was one standard set for all muslims. that way when i quote something disgusting from either book, we can just deal with that issue instead of turning to semantics! about what book can be used! :)

I am sorry to say this, but I know 2 guys who became Muslims because their friends were Muslims and nice people and these 2 boys wanted to strengthen their friendship with their Muslim friends, but what happened was when they moved to a new place where the majority were non-Muslims and their new friends too and Muslims were looked down upon so they changed being Muslims to non-Muslim. If you are interested in becoming a Muslim then make sure are serious about it and your intentions are correct.

@baristha As per the Quran, a Muslim woman has the right to vote, inherit, own property, marry by choice and divorce her husband if abused. 'Mahr" is actually similar to a pre-nuptial agreement. Most of the hadiths you've listed above are considered "false" by most Muslims because they contradict the Quran. If you're genuinely interested, please read a book on Islam from a secular source. I'm sure it will clarify most of the issues you're questioning and provide valuable insight. Take care.

There is nothing that specifically mentions about Aisha's (Ra) age. Really nothing. She has given more over 2 thousand authentic Hadiths. If it was that necessary to mention about her age, she would have mentioned it. She loved RasulAllah (SM) the most. There are multiple historical events that defined Aisha's (RA) was married at a normal age, there was nothing odd about it. Even before she was married to our Prophet (SM) she was engaged to a different non muslim man. The fiance's family were non-muslim and that's why the broke the engagement with Aisha(RA) because they thought they might convert. There was nothing uncommon about Aisha's marriage during that time, society and culture. Here in USA girls get pregnant at their teenage without marriage and goes through trouble, not all guy takes responsibility. That's why marriage is important. It emphasize the pure, sacred relation, respect and responsibility. Every good thing you do for your spouse and kid is considered as prayer. There’s nothing wrong in being married at an early age and living sacred happy life than just dating random guys pumping kids not taking care of them. Every one have to answer for what good and bad deeds they have done. It's just the way you sort your life. Whatever others have done is not our concern, we can only learn from those and not do ourselves.

Comparing Islam and Christianity in the world is like comparing Apples & Windows. The problem is not the computers but rather the operating systems. Each operating system & their respective managements seek to dominate the market. Some users have looked to “open source” operating systems where they are not shackled to the doctrines, & vulnerability to crashing of the conventional systems. Some operating system managements have resorted to some underhanded strategies to maintain market share!

@tony9L9L los, yes it's a nice thought and one that I would happily support. That point I was trying to make in my earlier post, is that not all atrocities committed in the third world can be attributed to religion. A lot has to do with local tribal customs, lack of education, socio economic conditions etc. Women from other faiths don't fare that much either in Asia, Mid-East and Latin America. Nor are their Holy Books particularly female friendly.....

Yet you provide nothing to refute the claims that the non-muslim claims.
Saying the Quran is holy as a counter argument is not even trying to adress the argument made. And simply confirms to the one implicitly targetting the Quran's 'holyness' that A) you have no counterargument and B)it is as unholy as it was initially argued.

Hi friends, there is one misconception which i would like to tell those who talk about our prophet Muhammad(PBUH) marriage with Aisha (RA) yes it is true when they got married her age was 9 years but it is also true that she stayed at her father Abubakar(RA) house till she was reached to puberty and then she went to live with the Prophet(PBUH). And the main reason behind that marriage was to build a strong relationship with Abubakar(RA) to strengthen the religion which was new at that time.

@MCVXtreme Dear brother/sister, the Quran is quite clear about the issue of the claimed superiority or inferiority of any human, male or female. The sole basis for superiority of any person over another is piety and righteousness not gender, color, or nationality (see the Quran 49:13 .To be continued

Thedude is upset over my saying that thinking is Islam's enemy-other Muslims at times say it, the Qur'ān's 2:2 and 5:101-02 strongly suggest it, and Muslims here consistently reveal it-but he says "As a Muslim I believe that hypocrites should go to hell" immediately before asking "How is it [Islam, apparently] madness?" Would a thinking man who offers madness go on to ask what's mad? Yes, of course. Madness is unlikely to recognize madness.
"Osama Bin Laden and ANY OTHER Arab leader"? Madness.

Too bad that these people didn't get to this questions: How come that there is not ONE Muslim democracy in the world??
How come vast majority of muslim countries - Iran, Pakistan, Afganistan, Saudi-Arabia, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Somalia - are totalitarian countries, dictatorships, countries that support terrorism, corruption, with no human rights, no women rights, no freedom, no respect for human lives..
It's VERY easy to talk about the "great" Islam religion in a democracy like the USA..

There is well known report, that a Christian Doctor met Prophet Muhammad and asked that he wanted his practice in Madina (Home city of Prophet); Prophet immediately allowed him. After a few days, Doctor came to Prophet & said, may be Muslim do not like a Christian docor becaz a very patient come to him. Prophet replied, this is not the real case. Truth is that Muslim pull their hand during meal when still they have 1/3 hunger, This keep them free of many diseases & they are usually healthy.

If Islam teaches love and mutual respect, please explain this Surah in the Quran to me, and be honest about it. The source is an Arabic website.
    Surat Al-Bayyina (98:6) سُوۡرَةُ البَیّنَة
"Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings. "
    Peace.

This will be dishonesty & forgery to single out just a few verses & to present them to people w/o their actual background context & w/o reading whole Quran. If U read whole, Quran tells you:
1- No Offence but just Strong Defence
2- To kill an innocent is the biggest crime
3- Invite to Islam but never force any one to convert
4- Live peacefully & respect all humans regardless what faith they have

God (in bible =the father) said this
=God the Creator of the heavens and the earth and man said in the Holy Quran
    (5) And when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger who cometh after me, whose name is the Praised One(ahmed=muhammed). Yet when he hath come unto them with clear proofs, they say: This is mere magic. (6)

Muslims' frequent suggestion of Islam's thorough unknowability for infidels tells us that we never have any REASON to become Muslims. Muslims confirm this by saying that one SUBMITS to Islam, which MEANS submission. One doesn't think his way in or think his way around inside (Qur'ān 5:101-02). He just surrenders, offers irresistance. Islam is not for thinkers, which fact has made Islam the failure it is (rescued today only by the Middle East's oil money). Thinking can only cause errors.

u kno Allah swt will judge you for speaking harshly to a non Muslim or insulting the Kaffir.
Even if they are Disbelievers we still need to respect them & be nice to them...thats how Islam is meant to be portrayed, we aren't killers or haters. And you are making us look like haters and descriminators.

@MCVXtreme Dear brother/sister,2)why do you kiss the black stone? The black stone was originally given to Abraham who built the Kaba used the black stone as a corner stone for the Kaba. Abraham and Ishmael taught the early Meccan Arabs monotheism; after the passing on of Abraham and Ishmael the Meccan Arabs, with time, regressed into pagan practices such as idol worship and they ended up having a pantheon of gods despite the original message of Abraham and Ishmael .To be continued

The much-mentioned peace of Islam is almost certainly in the mental effort that Islam relieves Muslims of. Relief from mental effort necessarily means relief from moral responsibility. (To have morality, one must be able to choose.) Hence Muslims' everlasting reliance on what the Qur'ān says AND inability to evaluate what it says.
The Qur'ān does simplify life. Life's path is narrow. Those who stray from it are punished severely. Punishment-fearful Muslims go to heaven.
    Simplicity is peace.
