Actually criminal lol that dpad is everything you want in a dpad it's clicky very responsive and the best for 2d fighting games not even new fight pads today match up to the saturn, I still use my playstation saturn controller with a converter for all my newer systems!
3DS my fav. It's so clicky and I never misinput because its so small that you can press the buttons with the tip of your finger rather than your finger print. Which sounds like a bad thing but it feels amazing imo
True, so good, probably my favourite too, and they messed up in the switch lite, worst dpad i've ever tried, even old game & watch consoles have better dpad. OG joycon is S tho, so precise, but i would call it dbuttons, which i prefer
You're not supposed to use all buttons on the N64 controller. You either hold the left and right handle, the middle and right handle or the left and middle handle. Do you think the left handle is just there for decoration?!
SNES got the best, most sturdy, robust and most precise d-pad ever. It's my second choice after the arcade stick, I'm still playing fighting games with it. 10/10 well deserved!
It might not be a controller but it's a handheld so ok The PSVita 1000 and 2000 have very nice d pads I prefer clicky D-Pads so that's why I don't like the DS Lite dpad but love the og DS, DSi, and DSi XL dpad
@@gluck05 Yeah true. I was playing Mario Kart DS on an original fat DS and even though it's a flawed design in a lot of ways, the D-Pad and Shoulder buttons are perfect for that game
Wii Pro Controller is almost perfect but if you're using it for a long time, your thumb hurts, and Wii U Pro Controller fix that, so that's the perfect "Snes like" D-pad Also XSX D-pad is practically perfect for me too, but I like to use both styles: the "Snes like" and the XSX style (I don't play fighting games, but platform ones)
There was also that limited edition silver X360 controller with a transforming d-pad. That one was a massive upgrade over the standard X360 d-pad.
how is saturn not 10/10

Searched for dpad tier list. Found this video. Was entertained. 8/10

I've heard the Dualsense Edge d-pad was better than the regular Dualsense one. But I ain't getting one unless there's a 50% discount at least.

My favorite is the Wii U Gamepad one it’s really good

Atari?!?!!?!?
the only atari controller with a dpad is the jaguar and i do not own one
You definitely don't play fighting games. Unfortunately despite the entertainment. Very poor in regards for fighting game use.
