@@elonmusk9697 It is, but notice that Suzuki is no longer selling ANY superbike. Just the Busa (sport touring). Those emissions restrictions no one asked for and no one voted are forcing the manufacturers to build less sporty products.
@@SrchangwaytogoC Well it seems like Suzuki gave up on that 15 years ago. The same bike over and over again. They had so much potential with that design, I liked it the most back then but today it's totally unoriginal

Ditto. I have had dozens of Yamahas in my life. Including 5 different R1s.
They are all equal to me, the first time I saw sports bikes they were in a group of 4 or more and all had different colours. I think the Suzuki had rear twin lights and this was in 93, I've been trying to find a yellow Suzuki made around 93 with those lights but I couldn't find anything, must've been aftermarket ones but I didn't think they made aftermarket stuff that early.
Yeah I've had all the other Japanese bikes as well as Triumph, BMW, and MV Agusta. But Yamaha has been in my garages a lot more by far.

My 1989 FZR 250 3LN1 which is black with blue custom graphics makes me quite happy . I am in my 50's . I am only 5ft 6in tall . I do track days as part of a private group booking twice a year. She make me happier than I would be with anything else as that is what I learnt on . A bit nostalgic . I need to take it a bit easy as I have type 2 diabetes which affects my nervous system . I can't really cope with a high powered motorcycle even though I ride a friend's FZR 600 at the track for a lap or two .
Still have the original 1999 YZF R6 and she still kicks ass to this day! Yamaha FTW!!!

They did A lot of Educational Videos with Rossi.
It is the same bike regardless of whose in the ad. Better put that money on development or better price.
They did use them to promote. In real races, at the highest level and have proven they are the best in the modern era. Why fake it when you've proven you can make it?
This video would have cost a lot more money to make because they'd probably have to pay the riders more money. Why spend that extra money when Yamaha already has enough proof that they make race-winning bikes?

Yamaha R1 is no longer on sale in my country India at the moment. But I believe it will surely come back with the latest model.
It doesn't matter. If you could afford it, you can import it from overseas and it will cost almost same.

Yamaha now a days are just all about the Premium Feel looks and A HEFTY premium price for any road bike they offer. Just forget the Performance Braking parts. Attractive color schemes more limited editions. This needs to change
