Good morning, thank you for this video I used it to replace first my passenger side, and then driver side motor. I know River newspapers so these windows get a lot of use. On the driver side shortly after replacing the motor the switch got burned out. I replaced the switch and it worked long enough to get the window up and then that switch burned out as well. Any ideas what’s causing this?
great video, the only part that I got stuck on is my window was stuck in the down position. In order for to raise it up slightly I had to tap on the metal panel directly where the window motor is mounted with a hammer. This allowed the motor to work slightly to adjust the lower bracket up to see the two bottom 10mm screws that hold the window in place.
Drivers side front window on my 2004 RAV4 intermittently will not go up or down or both. I do have power going to the switch and plug. Would this require replacing the motor and or regulator on this window?
I'm attempting based on the video. My window got stuck in the down position. How did you release tension so that the bottom could be lifted up to get to that first bottom 10mm screw?
My window is intermittently stopping in the middle, and sometimes at the top, there’s this odd clicking or crackling sound that persists for several more seconds, do you think this is due to a failing motor, or just some odd friction/mechanical problem? Thx in advance.

How do I tell if the switch is going or the motor?

Should just be the window motor
Was the problem solved by changing the motor ?
Thanks! I'm about to replace mine in the morning.
Glad I could help
I'm actually in the bay area. Would you be able to do this job on a Rav4 2002?

I would guess the motor
Thank you for the video it helps me replace a window motor.
So you just need a Philips head and 10mm socket?
pretty much
Thank you so much for this info, great video.
I installed the Window but now it gets stuck as it goes up, it’s going incorrectly and I can’t figure out why
Not sure unless I can see it. Maybe send a video and I'll see if I can give you any help
Window does not go up?
I just showed you how to change the window motor. What else can I do?
