    Top video, thoroughly enjoyed sitting back and listening. My wife and I have both owned a 2006 Honda Civic saloon's since new in Australia and 10 years later they have never broken down. Have only ever had routine maintenance. I have a honda motorbike, mower & line trimmer and they're all the same - superb design and engineering. This video makes me want to buy another - well done!

    Having owned an ishift for 3 days now and covering 400 miles, I must say, the auto part is useless but it is an excellent clutches manual in my opinion..the best way to drive it is combining the paddles with the stick ( being a manual driver for 10 years, I am okay with that) so the stick is good for normal changes and the paddles are good for quick changes. It is as economical and as quick as my old 1.8 manual.

      Using the paddle shifts is easy but I only tend to do that on a straight road if you use attempt to use them when turning then you tend to find yourself searching the steering wheel for them because as you turn obviously the paddle shift location moves, I agree with the man doing the review that I tend to just change up or down with the gear stick.

      Hill starts are fine if you do it exactly as you would with a manual. Just apply handbrake and give it a few revs so you can feel it take up drive and release the handbrake and give it more throttle
      If you are too tentative then it can judder

    • @tommyzoo
      @tommyzoo  7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Racqueteer it's a matter of opinion as are all test drives
      Personally I do not share your thoughts on the car
      I find these engines very smooth and quiet in normal driving
      Road noise is also quite well insulated but is sensitive to tyre manufacturers
      None of our customers have raised these as issues
      But as I said mine is just an opinion and should not be taken as gospel
