Don Bugito is an American brand making bug snacks of different flavours and buggy bits. We recently got sent some so we decided to break the bugs out and see what our TRYers thought of these tricky crickety treats.

There are some interesting but not horrible tasting ice creams out there. I know of a lactose free no sugar added ice cream that's incredible irrespective of how unpleasant it sounds.

Native mexican food has quite a bit of bug as protein . The chapulines have oddly enough become kind of popular as a mainstream food which is probably what they had on their tacos.

Cricket flour is an excellent addition to savory pancakes or fritters. You can replace some of the regular flour with cricket flour, lentil or chick pea flour, and add some curry powder, and top them with a coconut milk and onion sauce. It's really good.

My family and I, since we are Mexicans and certain regions from Mexico enjoy eating crickets and other bugs we decided that we would try them.
Crickets were a lot easier to munch and swallow than the hard worms (idk what they are called) we had them like you would peanuts, later on we tried them on a tostada with guac and that was much better

I have had the pleasure of trying dry roasted seasoned crickets (from a Mexican market in California)...
straight up full on crickets! & was actually pleasantly surprised (minus the bug after taste 😅)
My friend at work brought in these spicey crickets, I tried one - tasted fishy and salty, I don't think I wanted a second one.
