The delivery of "I wanna go home" is heartbreaking, it's clear he knows he's dying and asking forrest to get him back to his parents. It's a wish everyone can relate to, no matter how old you are or where you are from.
I agree but it was a bit underwhelming considering most young men cry for their mothers at their time of death in battle. Saving private Ryan did a good job of capturing this when the medic died.
@@gunman462that’s not factual at all in fact you saying that just exposed yourself of not knowing anything about military or war at all lmao not everyone cries lil bro some people just accept it and die . Life is not a Disney movie bud
"Even I know that's not the kind of thing you can find just around the corner" It's easy to forget that Forrest was fully aware that he was different, he just didn't let it affect what he did.
I challenge anyone to watch this movie and not find one moment in this movie that moves you to tears because I've seen this movie over a dozen times and the this scene still breaks my heart
Love this ❤ How about the Hacksaw Ridge scene when that guy saves all those soldiers and keeps asking God to let him save one more. And maybe the Green Mile when that big black dude gets electrocuted. That was friggin' heartbreaking. Anywho, keep these comin'. These are awesome 🤘🤘
There's good people everywhere, there's bad people everywhere, and you're either a willfully blind bigot or just childishly naive if you think otherwise.

@@JohnWick-qr4yc You could be right but only part of the time average iq fella.
Bubba saying “I wanna go home” is the saddest part of the movie to me. Makes me cry every time.
Me too! It's absolutely heartbreaking
Every last, brave and courageous US soldier in Vietnam just wanted to go home. 🇺🇸

I may not be a smart man but I do know what love is
Bubba's death was sadder than jenny's
Weird to compare them
Infinitly
Both are sad man
I agree
yeah i dont blame folks gettin choked up when Forrest said "Bubba no" when he saw the wound
its like even he's smart enough to know that aint good
Bubba: I wanna go home. 😢😭
2:26 I completely agree with Alyska. Everyone does need a friend like Forrest Gump
"That's all I have to say about that."
A goddamn war hero.

That "Oh Bubba no" delivery kills me.
Gets ya in the feels

Poor bubba 😢.
Love bubba
I'm got to find bubba😂
hay relatos de soldados que estuvieron en viecnan y estando bajo fuego enemigo salvaron a muchos heridos
Darlin “choppers” as you call them, don’t “bomb” anything. 😖
Only if Americans were really this nice in real life.

and, once again, I wish we had just stayed home back in '45
