It’s been so fun, and I expect with community play dates where we play ps2 online, cool peripherals, weird ass games, and eventually being an 80 year old still plugging away at this challenge, that this will be a ride to remember!
I appreciate your honesty in this review! Even though this was highly requested as a perfect game you still reviewed it critically and that's what I look forward too instead of a false narrative of you trying to pretend it's the perfect game. I'm glad you finally played it!
Absolutely dude, as much as I’d like to just love everything so I seem agreeable, I know how important it is to speak honestly, even if this is more about the challenge. I want to stay true! Thanks so much dude, you’re awesome!
@@PS2orDie that's exactly why I'm still subbed to you because you stay honest! when it comes to archiving every ps2 game people are going to want a critical review of it.
This game is one of my absolute favourites. The movie is fantastic too, it's incredibly rare to find a pairing like this. Very often, movie tie-in games are lackluster at best, but this one actually adds to the movie and builds the world in a way the movie just couldn't. Plus neither the movie or the game have been ruined by bad sequels either, they both stand alone as far as I know in that regard
It seems many share these feelings! I haven’t watched the movie in almost 20 years so I couldn’t remember what was added, which says a lot about the quality of the additions. Glad to see another fan of both the game and movie!
@@PS2orDie the game basically starts before the movie does, shows rembrandt joining and shows the destroyers and more of coney island, which are barely in the movie at all. then picks up and pretty much aligns itself with the movie, while still filling the gaps with scenes like the hi hats competition and chase sequence, some more with the orphans, the baseball furies boss, they really did an awesome job with it. Oh and the versus modes were fantastic aswell, being able to play as all the different factions was just the cherry on top.
Amazing game blessed to see and have all from 1980-Now I have every console and tons of games what a life of gaming throughout the decades keep beating all the PS2 games it’s a great console library one of my favorite consoles enjoy life
@@PS2orDie I remember we used to hang out and watch the movie all the time, we had our favorite gangs (the baseball furies always had a strange allure to them but I loved The Warriors because, of course. When he got the game we booted up the coop and i remember being blown away that we were playing as some of our favorite characters and getting to run around bopping anyone who got in our way. It always reminds me of a time of no real responsibility and playing games with some close friends!
The effort in your videos is incredible, greetings from Argentina PS2 Guy
Hey what’s up! I really appreciate it! How is the ps2 supply in Argentina?
The co-op was tons of fun.
Man that would be cool to try. I’m not sure there’s a way though…
Thank God for the algorithm. This channel is gonna be a wild ride 😮

This game is a 7.5 until you play the coop multiplayer...then it becomes a solid 9.
Ah interesting, this isn’t the first time for sure co-op is a better experience. Although for me, a 7.5 is still a good game.
Creepy…I was literally watching the movie in an arthouse theater when this video dropped. 😮
Ha freaking sweet! Did you like the movie? Have you played the game?
Awesome video!
Appreciate dude!
I can’t wait till game #3704
haha me too! I'll be an old man but I'll still kick it's ass!
You never mentioned the Baseball Furies at the end of blackout
Oh shoot right, thanks for adding that!
