All the things listed in this video is what being a man is all about. I have always been this way and I raised all three of my son's this way. We call it being a gentleman.
I love this lifestyle. I love how it has finally been defined and explained, because for so many years, I always felt strange or that I didn't fit in. Other men hated or resented me because things came easily and naturally to me, and I couldn't understand why they didn't want that for themselves.
when i speak other men get intimidated....am often under-estimated till i speak... even in my current course in masters, my course mates thought i was the dummy of the class till a tutor took the mockery too far....i had to answer his seemingly difficult questions...this shocked the class till date they still gaze at me in awe...and i see the red hot envy in the guys eyes....hence my wanting to avoid limelight initially....
This video speaks to me in every way. Says everything that really grabs my attention about a Sigma,from that close fitting T shirt that shows what he is working with to his leadership qualities. His mysterious, confident personality to even that intimidating fixed gaze. And even though he is not a master of all, the fact that he is able to fix almost every little thing in the home BECAUSE of that brilliant mind makes him highly attractive. As a woman you just love it when you you can depend on that masculine.
@@RobertMorgan I'm confused why you even ask that question. It's not about you. You don't need an answer. Doing things for others is just the right thing to do. It has nothing to do with gender or validating your ego. Just pay it forward. It doesn't require any reward for treating people with respect. Nor does it require any obligation or conversation.
This is what real man is all about. Competent but cares for others. He knows when to enter, when to leave, and when to give others what they deserve. He doesn't want to be a jerk who wants all eyes on him only.
In my youth I tried to be like my peers, tried to be "popular". I wasn't popular and felt very uncomfortable trying. Life experience has made me a Sigma as far as it comes to enjoying being alone, avoiding small talk and loudmouths. In group gatherings I always stand aside. Other people are just a nuisance, except the few I am befriended with. I'm happy to be able to work alone and at home! I've wondered, if I'm not right somehow, but this series has helped me to understand myself better. 👍

I was so comfortable being alone that in my vey early 20s I was completely fine going to the movie theater all by myself. My brother never understood it. He had to always go everywhere with a small entourage. I never needed them. I didn't shun going with others, but it was never a necessity which is the way he saw it.
Likewise, I'm there and have been for most of my life. I'm thankful for these videos which explained nicely what I've suspected for many years but couldn't describe to anyone else.
This isn't even about sigmas, this is just called being a gentleman. This isn't about being an alpha or sigma or whatever else, it's just called being a man or not. I'm glad the internet is teaching this generation these nearly forgotten rules.
Keanu Reeves is a good example of a Sigma. A even better example is the knight Tristan in the movie King Arthur (2004) who hasn't watch it, should. Also a very important fact although they are (very) attractive, they are not perfect which in itself is a plus because it doesn't make the women feel insecure or the men appear to be very demanding, and they love to work with this "imprefection" with potential. It's the lack of being always driven by the newest fashion or newest stuff which makes them "imperfectly" interesting, because they have the confidence to not follow everything new just for the sake of it.
I know society has pictured him being a Sigma but he comes off more as a Delta or Gamma. He’s a bit eccentric & odd in their own way. Keanu fits that category
Only thing I don't agree with is #6, only a simp will always stand up when a woman comes along. Sitting down and making sure her presence is known does the same thing.
I guess that's why I have the wife I've got. I wasn't looking for a woman when she found me. But because of who I am she was attracted to me. After we talked for quite a while she was super attached to me and me to her. We've been married for almost 15 years now and have no desire to find a replacement should one of us die. We are totally committed to each other.

I believe any true sigma has experienced at least one stalker in their lifestyle 💯 true sigma men are rare as f#@# and getting into their life isn't easy and once they decide the relationship is finished it's even harder to get back in which leads to infatuation and stalking.

Being an army veteran reminds me of the values and standards that we have which are reinforced in service. I am aware that it's attractive but unless she's intelligent i'll swerve! It's nice to see a list of unique things we do that make us look more attractive. This was a good video!

You didn't even mention honestly one of the main reasons... Sigma males act like they aren't interested in women or dating because honestly we usually don't. A true Sigma values their Independence over being tied down to a relationship. Women always want what they can't have! Women flirt with and come on to me all the time and friends tell me this girl or that one has a crush on me, but honestly I prefer bring single and living alone. There is a huge difference between being alone and being lonely!! I am 43 have no wife or girlfriend, no kids, own my own house and live alone and I wouldn't change it for anything or anyone!
Actions are powerful, they are real. Even the simplest of gestures such as giving your coat makes a statement in actions. Also goes to show how much we consider others.
I have a system in my bedroom for organizing shirts. I have a stack on top the dresser with regular shirts on top. Beneath that I have undershirts all in one cluster so I can find one in the dark when my wife is sleeping. A little prep work when folding shirts and I'm good to go 24/7.
I love fixing things Did it for a living! Women really do like a Man that can fix things! Sharpening knives by hand too. When people get used to using sharp knives they can't stand a dull one.
#8 March 2023 Paris France on the RER commuter train my head was on a swivel to give my seat to old women & young at least 5 times & in French. Only one older lady took my seat. Once I think my gesture was infectious because a man near us motioned to give his seat up as well, but the lady said "non merci".🤷♂
I didn't know what a Sigma male was until I watched some videos on it. Most of my traits are Sigma with some Alpha traits mixed in for good measure. From what I understand, that's not too uncommon. Most of the things mentioned here apply to me but not all. The one that struck me funny was the black t-shirts. If you look in my closet, the only kind of t-shirt you will find is black pocket t-shirts. I'm wearing one now. Some of my other shirts are more colorful. But I wear the black t-shirts and black clothing, in general, a lot.
I was explaining something to a new co-worker at work. She was young and quite beautiful and she looked at me happy I took the time to explain something and help her understand. Once I bought flowers for someone I had a crush on for Valentines Day. I wasn't sure what would happen but just to be nice. I stared down the deacon at Church who was staring at a woman I know during Mass. He was making her uncomfortable and I wasn't going to tolerate it. A real man has to take charge and do the little things other men don't even realize is happening.
I identify with all of it except being introverted and confused with shy. I actually try to be more reserved in discussions, which I am not at all. I do cherish being very expressive at the right times, though.

I have lived more or less Sigma for nearly a decade but I am but no means passive and gentle. 3 decade Veteran, work Timber, and n fantastic shape. In my personal opinion any man that SIMPS to any woman not meeting near 100% of his expectations isn't Sigma, nor is any man seeking/desiring female validation. 6:15 I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Japanese-American. Male. A total Sigma Male. WHY is it, whether they are a real life couple, or "playing as a couple in a movie, video, or a photo picture in a book or even a modeling magazine," I find it SUCH a huge turn-ON, when an attractive Black woman, is paired with a White or Asian man! I remember a Nordstrom catalog many years ago, had a HOT Black Canadian woman, with a good-looking Japanese-Canadian man, and I found that to be HOT, even if they weren't a real couple! Anne Hooper's sex books had TWO couples in those pictures, with a HOT Black woman, with a handsome White man. I love that SO much!!
Giving a seat to a woman in train? Someone with ulterior motives (even if it's only in their mind) will do that. With proper manners you'll offer your seat to women, children, the elderly and the sick/disabled, or actually anyone who looks like they need it more.
I will take art on a t-shirt before a plain shirt and that is not to impress anyone. I like style and the feeling of wearing something that defines me for that particular day. It is really about originality rather than plain shirts and not following the crowd for approval, even if it something as dismal as a t-shirt.
I am the only one in the family that is a mostly Sigma, with some Alpha mixed in there too. Nobody else in the household is a Sigma, it seems I'm the unique one, but I am fine with that.
Long story short: Each woman has her own set of experiences, beliefs, and values, which means that how each woman is impacted by Sigma males behavior will be unique. Some women may find it empowering while others may feel disrespected or uncomfortable; ultimately, understanding the individual response is key in determining how a Sigma male's actions will affect various women.
I always wear black tshirt even when I was a child. I dunno, I just feel comfortable wearing black or dark colors. People always telling me that I look like someone who is mourning everyday. I fix that habit during my early 20s but now I'm on my 30s I stop caring about what other people thinks about me.
Couple being this with a lack of seeing attraction to you, and you get me, 39, alone, childless, never married. Women, speak up I guess. I'm literally oblivious. Once I'm clued in I'm Mr perfect, but it's on YOU to get there.

Agreed. Especially in this age of MeToo there's never a good time to start grabbing her back to sit down. It seems like this is something that should have been established earlier on in the dating process. It's creepy when a guy is too handsy but it's also creepy when a guy doesn't touch a woman enough. Until some valid reliable metrics are provided for the right amount of touching, the guy is destined to be perceived as a creep. Only touching a girl not enough won't land you before a judge.
@@protorhinocerator142 For #3 general speaking an Alpha makes the gesture for reassurance/dominance, for Betas its insecurity/desperation like the nice guy, and for narcissist it's a gesture ownership and submission.... in my opinion. Me personally I don't like showing affection in public, don't like holding hands while walking.... it throws off my gait and would slow down my reaction in a defensive scenario.... that's if you carry and restricts situational awareness. I save the hand holding and affection for the bedroom.

Alpha men are often all talk and little substance. Sigmas are all substance and little talk. I spent twenty-five years explaining highly technical, cutting edge technology to people from all levels of society. My whole life I've been the one people come to for answers. One friend said I have an answer for everything. I disagreed. So she asked, "what killed the dinosaurs", (this was thirty- years ago when the cause was newly made public), I had to concede she was right. :)
My whole approach to life was influenced by the book Mort D'Arthur be a noble and honourable person be kind do not tolerate in justice protect women and the weak . And do what's required to take down the bad guys.

I had to stop at no 8. This is because of my age and iQ (which is biology not something I did, just to be clear ). This is the 2nd so called sigma sign that I can say is just being a gentleman. I may not fit alpha or beta, but I’d never say sigma , I say it’s far more complex. Yes I prefer solo , don’t follow or want people , had one close friend (he died). BUT I have a wife of 34 years (this just stopped me). She said her friends hit on me because I was nice. I was just being a gentleman (it was late 80s early 90s).
Going to give you guys more knowledge instead of dinner dates , going out for ice cream accomplish the same goal as dinner date. more relaxing and fun ice breaking and short . I hate ice cream and love my teeth but it’s a day date that doesn’t put you in a friend zone. Plus it’s cheaperand less time consuming. Get same results without calling it a date. Results I mean by getting to know someone or getting comfortable, not sexually but but I guess it could . Entire point is fun and breaks ice of proper or formal
I love this... A sigma man would stand up to give a woman his seat on a train instead of letting her stand up for the whole ride, and expects nothing in return!

Active listening, one of my favorites, is another way to demonstrate that one is listening to what one is being told.

I have lived more or less Sigma for nearly a decade but I am but no means passive and gentle. 3 decade Veteran, work Timber, and n fantastic shape.
In my personal opinion any man that SIMPS to any woman not meeting near 100% of his expectations isn't Sigma, nor is any man seeking/desiring female validation. Most men believing they are Sigma havent had the option of turning down female validation once in their life let alone ever have.

I will take art on a t-shirt before a plain shirt and that is not to impress anyone. I like style and the feeling of wearing something that defines me for that particular day. It is really about originality rather than plain shirts and not following the crowd for approval, even if it something as dismal as a t-shirt.
The more I learn about Sigma males,the more I realize how much more like my father I am.
Actually, I am a Sigma and nothing like my father. But, I am like my grandfather, who passed a few years ago.

I always wear black tshirt even when I was a child. I dunno, I just feel comfortable wearing black or dark colors. People always telling me that I look like someone who is mourning everyday. I fix that habit during my early 20s but now I'm on my 30s I stop caring about what other people thinks about me.

It seems like this is something that should have been established earlier on in the dating process. It's creepy when a guy is too handsy but it's also creepy when a guy doesn't touch a woman enough. Until some valid reliable metrics are provided for the right amount of touching, the guy is destined to be perceived as a creep.

Me personally I don't like showing affection in public, don't like holding hands while walking.... it throws off my gait and would slow down my reaction in a defensive scenario.... that's if you carry and restricts situational awareness. I save the hand holding and affection for the bedroom.

I had to stop at no 8. This is because of my age and iQ (which is biology not something I did, just to be clear ). This is the 2nd so called sigma sign that I can say is just being a gentleman. I may not fit alpha or beta, but I’d never say sigma , I say it’s far more complex. Yes I prefer solo , don’t follow or want people , had one close friend (he died). BUT I have a wife of 34 years (this just stopped me). She said her friends hit on me because I was nice. I was just being a gentleman (it was late 80s early 90s).

Going to give you guys more knowledge instead of dinner dates , going out for ice cream accomplish the same goal as dinner date. more relaxing and fun ice breaking and short . I hate ice cream and love my teeth but it’s a day date that doesn’t put you in a friend zone. Plus it’s cheaperand less time consuming. Get same results without calling it a date.
