People in California aren’t really rich (common people) they’re just unable to leave due to the financial system (means). I was lucky enough to have defected in 2014 to Florida and am immensely grateful to have had that opportunity. Wish I’d been able to do it sooner.
I just bought $37 dollars worth of Butterfiner bars for the kids for trick or treat ! Lots people in my Neighborhood last 2 years have stopped participating in halloween probabably due to inflation. And spent $ 4.79 for a dozen eggs yesterday,
I wish I believed this. I think people are drawing the wrong conclusions. She is not indecisive, she is a Covert Narcissist. She hates looking bad in front of other people, so she makes joyful but insubstantial statements meant to appeal to everyone. But once the doors are closed, her thoughts are hard and fast and she has no concerns about any promises she made or what anyone else thinks. She hates everyone and only values her own opinion (and yours ONLY if you agree with her). She will act like she is conceding to do everyone's will, but she will 'accidentally' do her own either by forgetting that she knew what you wanted OR waiting until things get bad and she can blame that she "had no choice". And the really, really sad part is: When she is alone with herself, she hates herself most. Unlike Trump who thinks he has done pretty well for himself and likes to exaggerate like a Showman, she sees herself as being without worth and needs other people to keep reinflating her ego ... other people she comes to despise. It is so sad.
Screw healthy eating (like that green stuff) it’s your VACATION!! For $9 those eggs should stay there! Pick one item each day that you’d like to have that you normally don’t spend the money on. Indulge! Have a triple stacked ice cream cone for lunch, or a slice of cheesecake with strawberries. Treat yourself each day….how much $$ would it cost you to travel to work and back, spend that amount on a treat for yourself (and share with your dad). Hope he feels better quickly!
That is a good way to look at it... believe it or not, the food prep that I have to do to bring food to work actually costs more than if I sat at home... tomorrow maybe we will do a ice cream day. Dad feeling a little under weather still, hopefully he will be better tomorrow. :)
The wife and I stopped at a Dollar General to buy weekly snacks for us and the grandkids. Our snacks used to cost around $30.00 a year ago, and today they were over $50.00.
