You may find this strange but I'm 20years old and purchased a 66plate 2.0t prestige a couple months ago. I previously had the ds3 and I've fallen in love with the ds5! Comfortable drive and can go if it needs to.
Going to buy a DS5 Prestiege grey, 2.0 2016 model as can't wait to take it for a test drive. Nice review by way, this review had worked for me and happy to be a new subscriber of OSV. :)
Thanks for the independent review of this car. Can you do a video on the bias toward German cars in the main stream media, despite owner survey after survey finding them to be mediocre for reliability at best. And the msm vandalisation and rubbishing of any other vehicle marque that is not Germanic. I swear if you scrapped a dog shit of the street and stuck a BMW badge on it, it would get rave reviews. I am finding msm reviews of any vehicle that is not Germanic to be too negative. BMW, Audi and Mercedes are nice vehicles, but so over rated I am embarressed to watch many msm reviews. German cars ARE NOT SUPER RELIABLE, in fact Mercedes are diabolical and Audi and BMW not even great these days. These facts, and they are facts are never mentioned about many German brands when they are being reviewed. People just assume French cars are unreliable and badly built, some were (these were usually built to a price), but many are not. It seems ze Germans have the main stream motoring press all sewn up. I like the DS, it is such a breath of fresh air in a sea of bland Germanic conservative design, what bugs me is the msm putting the public off the DS range. I do like German cars they are fine to a point, but I actually believe Korean brands Hyundai/Kia have surpassed them for reliability long ago as they are confident to stick a 5 year warranty on these vehicles. A relative of mine bought a BMW X5 out of warranty. However everything started to go wrong electrically, it needed a full suspension re-build too. All this coupled with the parts and labour costs on these not very diy service friendly vehicles meant it was just not worth fixing. Even though it appearred to be in good condition outwardly it was a total dog underneath. Thinking of a Peugeot 3008 next myself, very nice design and seem reliable enough.
@@rivervalegroup My pleasure. I'm an Architect and trained in the 'form follows function' philosophy so am always looking for the reason for things. My own car is a C4 Spacetourer which is a really beautiful shape and a big step up from the '2000 C4 Picasso I had previously. My favourite classic car is the Citroen DS Chapon. Ever seen the film 'By the sea'? Definitely worth a watch.

Be sure to give us a call too, we can usually get decent prices on DS. Thanks for the feedback, like your channel too 👌
I bought mine 2months ago also, how are you finding it?
What can you tell about sound isolation from road and wind and the suspensiyon Thank u
Love my DS5 😀
That's great to hear, Hannah! Thank you for watching 👍
Well designed cockpit, the previous model is also excellent and I prefer the firmer suspension.
I assumed that the sunroof actually opened up fully? But is only exposes a glass roof that’s static and can’t be opened ?
Correct
Would have liked a better real world review of the power on the road the bluehdi delivers!
J'aime ds5

Nice looking car, but those chrome strip things along the bonnet - uhh!
They're certainly not to everyone's taste, Peter! Thanks for watching 👍
