love your energy in this video. you seem so relaxed und amused and it's exactly how you make me feel watching your videos. and I LOVE that last plant you showed. its so different in its mature form
Tbh I've never felt syngoniums full stop. Probably due to trying to grow red arrows from babies and them promptly karking it. Milkshake confetti syngs are also vile imho. Bah!
What a great title for a new video! What does Ben know! Maybe Ben and you can make a video on why he buys certain plants, I remember the video where he had bought some begonias and you didn’t know why. ❤ you and Ben together, maybe have a drink and discuss what Ben knows!
I have a black ZZ in pon and it just shot up a new shoot with another one on the way. It took a good year to see any change, but it seems to be happy in pon
I just transferred my ZZ Raven to leca after watching The Leca Queen doing it. It is growing new roots so its happy chappy in leca. I reckon it should be OK in pon too (although never used pon) as long as the reservoir of water is not too high (not touching the roots)
I've got a Raven in leca too (for ~2yrs) and it's literally the only plant I've ever not only successfully kept alive in leca, but it's perhaps the most thriving plant I've had! I've killed an awful lot of aroids by switching to leca or at least made them so miserable that I had to transfer them back to soil, but man the ZZ loves it, it doesn't even care about the amount of water, I sometimes just fill up the pot almost completely and it just never complains. Definitely my happiest plant (and I've easily had 100 others over time).
@@specialuniquesnowflake Awesome 💪 So you’ve made me very hopeful about transferring my ZZ Zenzi and ZZ Gem to LECA. I’m a total LECA convert now and am slowly transitioning most of my collection to LECA. I find it cleaner and easier tbh. AND no more fungus gnats and hopefully fewer pest issues overall 🫤
@@ConnieP92 yea I definitely wouldn't worry about ZZs, if they can survive my care, they'll survive everything 😂I had similar goal to yours with converting everything to leca and not only I, as I already mentioned, killed a lot of my plants but one day I saw a fungus gnat crawling out of one of the leca pots and it ruined my life lol. but I don't want to discourage you, it definitely is cleaner and easier and if it works for you and your plants then it's cool, I'm pretty sad that most of the time it just doesn't work for me, dunno what I'm doing wrong... 🥲
The corsinianum was one of my first wishlist plants and were super expensive (Australia) when I first started collecting. I finally got one last year and they really are one of my favourites - such a statement plant
I love the webbed leaf philodendron that is so cool never seen something like that wish I lived in the UK so I could get some of your plants but I'm here in the US an I mail order my plants because I live in the mountains an guess people think that we are a bunch of hillbilly hicks that only want to buy trees(we live in the mountains why you need to buy a tree) or tomatoes an cucumber plants. Even our Walmart's like the most exotic thing they had this year was a global green potho and a Chinese evergreen but even then it's just the regular pink and white form nothing fancy so I have to mail order on my plan but man do I wish I was there cuz you have some of the most gorgeous plants
My ZZ raven absolutely loves pon so definitely recommend going for that with your formerly variegated specimen! And that fart comment about the ghost 😂😂😂
@@heatherjensen3327 no I know, mine just doesn't want to grow I tried giving him more light, tried Leca, idk what he wants. He's alive fine, just won't grow.
Oh, and for Strawberry Ice I do actually really like them :) I mean how they look not how they grow. Both the burgundy and pink are really pretty, the shade of pink on the variegation is actually the nicest of the pink variegated plant I've seen. But mine died so who cares, I'm definitely not replacing that one. Way to much trouble.
Believe it or not, strawberry ice still has some value in the U.S. (at least from what I have seen) They still go for $60+ and are considered somewhat rare still
That def looks like a struggling anthurium renaissance. A healthy one has the same shape leaves and very variegated with both the green and yellow/white variegation in your plant. It kinda reminds me of a philodendron gigantium
Oooooooo do you have any of the black Colocasia left 🤤 or did they go out in the rescue boxes? Do you know if/when you’ll be doing more rescue boxes? I just missed them unfortunately. Ps loved seeing the vid with Billie & Teddy & to see how happy you looked. You deserve all the good things 😊x
i notice with the white knight, they tend to grow from more than one node when you cut them, which is great if you have a mediocre plant like mine LMAO. Now and then I get a nicely variegated leaf, but usually they look pretty shit
I was on your shop and I saw a philodendron spiritus sancti and I showed it to my dad and he said no ,and also I am 11 years old and I love your videos and different aroid ,ps I think I spelt aroid wrong😂
If you ever want to dump your unwanted plants I will take them. What you see as undesirable is very beautiful in my eyes. I Love your videos. Thank you for what you do.
I remember you being obsessed with a colocasia that was mostly black with some purple...I want to say it was named after an xman? Psylock maybe? Is this a less mature one?
couldint help but laugh at how much u hated the strawberry ice im like that with a philodendron ring of fire i think its called every time i see one i wonna break it
I love ZZ plants, but each time I repot them they act angry, lose leaves, part of it does off, and generally hate life. My green one is going down, my raven is doing slightly better. But gets angry when it gets repotted.

I completely agree! This was a fun video.
Patiently checking the shop 700 times a day for rescue boxes to drop 😅 totally not psychotic behaviour 🤣🤣
10:20 "shouldn't have done it, did it but don't do it " is so me LOL
I don’t understand how people love the Syngonium Strawberry Ice 😂 It looks like bad lettuce from the fridge.
Preach
Ahahaha!
Tbh I've never felt syngoniums full stop. Probably due to trying to grow red arrows from babies and them promptly karking it. Milkshake confetti syngs are also vile imho. Bah!
I feel the same way about p. Caramel marble, floroda bronze and variegated black cardinal. Gross brown tones that look diseased.
@@heatherjensen3327 💯 caramel marble for sure. Ick.
Hey! I put all of my variegated zz's in pon and they are thriving in there! I find it easier to root them in pon than a philo sometimes.
Hi, I´m very surprised buy that. Do you have them semi hydro/self watering? or do you just use the pon as a substrate and water it regularly?
What a great title for a new video! What does Ben know! Maybe Ben and you can make a video on why he buys certain plants, I remember the video where he had bought some begonias and you didn’t know why. ❤ you and Ben together, maybe have a drink and discuss what Ben knows!
I'm really happy you're doing rescue boxes, it will be so much fun for so many people. I wish you shipped them to US :)
rescue boxes are available from @cheydplantlady in the US
@@SarahGerrard-Jones are these rescue boxes Kaylee is talking about going to be the plant rescuer partnership ones?
I have a black ZZ in pon and it just shot up a new shoot with another one on the way. It took a good year to see any change, but it seems to be happy in pon
What’s happened to all those weird colocasias and alocacias from the past? Pharaon mask and the others? Genuinely curious to see them growing ❤

Omg literally with the Florida ghost. Mine just put out it’s first ghost leaf a few days ago. So cute.

Very underrated philo, the new leaves are incredible to watch unfurl

So excited for the rescue boxes! Nabbed a regale for a cracking price last time x
I have both my Raven and Variegated zz in Pon and they love it!
I would have never thought that a plants would be happy in pon that is so cool!
My ZZ raven absolutely loves pon so definitely recommend going for that with your formerly variegated specimen!

Feeling so seen and validated with your rant on strawberry ice 😂 I 100% agree!
If you'd be willing to send a rescue box to mainland europe, i'd cover the delivery/shipping costs! Would love to have some rehab plants again!!
Its a variegated birds nest anthurium...
It has a greenish brown color with pink variegation
Bring on the resuce plants🙌🏾, I'm literally building a large terrarium as we speak and just thinking I need more plants 😅
Plant rescue...what . Well if you ever want to ship to Canada 🇨🇦 I'm your girl. ❤
If you want to rescue plants, buy local. Shipping house plants over the world doesn’t make any sense. It probably kills more plants than you rescue
Sometimes when I moved a plant and found another at the back, I'll be pleasantly surprised how much it has grown (or not) 😊
Hi Kaylee do you have a video posted about philodendron Jose buono? I’d like to know what do you think about that beautiful plant
I have a ZZ Raven I moved to Leca a couple months ago cuz it's been dormant. Still dormant but it survived fine. Just keep the reservoir low.
They dont need a dormancy period.
@@heatherjensen3327 no I know, mine just doesn't want to grow I tried giving him more light, tried Leca, idk what he wants. He's alive fine, just won't grow.

Totally agree about the Syngonium Strawberry Ice!!
I'm absolutely in love with the weird hybrid black alocasia....🖤
Loooool you and your hate towards the Strawberry Ice is freaking hilarious 😂😂😂 I actually do like it 🫣😅
I few weeks ago I found a white knight in my local plant shop. It barely has any variegation but lets hope it gets more!
Corsinianum is going on my wishlist, thanks Kaylee 👀
Literally just ordered some florida ghost for the garden centre I work for so excited 😊
Believe it or not, strawberry ice still has some value in the U.S. (at least from what I have seen) They still go for $60+ and are considered somewhat rare still
Is there any way you'd be open to shipping to the US too? Would DIE for some of your plants omg
Can't wait to see the ZZ's potted up!
Love the corsinianum... think it's a hybrid of bipinnatifidum and verrucosum
is Syngonium Red Spot Tricolor the same as SyngonniumTricolor? I can't really find anything that says if they are or not.
That def looks like a struggling anthurium renaissance. A healthy one has the same shape leaves and very variegated with both the green and yellow/white variegation in your plant. It kinda reminds me of a philodendron gigantium
Respect not to just keep pushing it without inspiration, looking forward your new content 🎄
We need a follow up video to this one entitled “What Ben Knows” and follow up to that one entitled “What Ben Doesn’t Know.”
Happy to hear you got a well deserved break. So disappointed in my White Knight, it looks exactly like yours. 😂💚💚💚

Crazy, I just purchased a variegated zz cutting! Hoping it’s new growth isn’t fully variegated and destined to die

Your feed, where is it! Must have! I need!
It’s 3am here and I can’t sleep so this was perfect timing 😍
Last one would be fun to try to grow upside down. Or put it on a wall for a filler.
Was there ever an update on the Monstera white monster? I probably missed it
I have a ZZZ in pons and it grows better to me than soil
My ZZ Raven is in Leca looking beautyful :)
LMFAO those strawberry ice syngoniums. Omg I remember those, and I hated them SO MUCH. Tri-color though? Oh yes. Please.
"Colocasia WTF" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 DYING!
5:04 Sooo true… ZZ’s.. the one plant we are very happy to neglect 😂
I think that one is a colocasia black coral - or at least looks IDENTICAL to mine
Why do you choose pon for your house plants?
I love you!! Shouldn't have done it, did it, don't do it at home😂😂😂
we are all guilty of helping our leaves out..
Hey kaylee… do you put new imports in leca?
Hey 😊 yes I do! Sometimes they go in water for 24 hours first to rehydrate them

Ok do florida ghosts revert? I got a ghost mint supposidly but its mostely coming in green
Give it more light

I Love your videos. Thank you for what you do.
I had no idea what was what corsi looked like mature 😮 I think I like mine as a baby but I’m not hating on the mature form!
Ah, bummer. The rescue boxes are UK only 😭
Would love a rescue box if you ever consider shipping them to Europe!!
any videos coming this week? miss you!
Any video today? Or did I miss something? 😬
This syngonium strawberry ice is going for around £20 from what I've seen.
Maybe a Colocasia black coral??????? Just guessing......
Your ZZ plant looks just like mine😅
Yay rescue boxessss ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
That one Philodendron looked like wilted spinach when it matures
obsessed with the Colocasia wtf, I’d love to see if anyone can ID
Just bought a white knight from the hardware store for 8€ here in Finland so yeah, not that much value left.
Oh no STRAWBERRY ICE! I wanted one so bad, call me crazy still kinda do lol. Maybe some day 🤷🏻♀️ 😂
These are like farts, if you have to force it, it’s not good 😂😂😂😂
That does not look like an anthurium renaissance! The renaissance has more ruffled edges, and more upright, longer leaves :)
Found my white wizard right next to a white knight. $30 for a tiny 3 leaf little bit of nothing. Nothing grows slower 😂
I quite like the corsinianum x mature form, although I must say the pic you put up didn’t really do it justice
I definitely want one please😍
I’m in the us also
I remember you being obsessed with a colocasia that was mostly black with some purple...I want to say it was named after an xman? Psylock maybe? Is this a less mature one?
dark pheonix\
I'd be scared the zz tuber/corm? Wouldn't like being wet in pon.
Philodendron hate me I got a rescue golden violin and it looks naff..x
If you ship it to Germany, here's my interest sign :-D
I missed youuuuuu.
Anthurium gracile
You definately forgot the scindapsus black mamba 😭😭😭
"Shouldn't have done it. Done it." Mood. 😅
Why don't you sent rescue boxes to Europe? I want one!
Kaylee, you're like the necromancer who's revolted by dead things lol.
couldint help but laugh at how much u hated the strawberry ice im like that with a philodendron ring of fire i think its called every time i see one i wonna break it
That mature corsinianum looks like it lost it's turgor :( Idk, I don't like it, would never get it. Prefer sturdy leaves.
I’m here to ask for more GoPro videos.
Omg I can't wait for the rescue boxes 😍
don’t force it like a fart 😂😂😂😂 💨 ❤❤
I love ZZ plants, but each time I repot them they act angry, lose leaves, part of it does off, and generally hate life. My green one is going down, my raven is doing slightly better. But gets angry when it gets repotted.
Had zz in pon for 6 years
👍
The mature Corsinianum X looks like sad salat.. I'm not really a fan 😂
Philodendron Corsinianum X reminds me of a pumpkin patch after a heavy frost. Hard pass.
I'm not a fan of that mature leaf that's all folded in on itself. I like the immature leaf.
Please consider rescue boxes for the USA
