How’d it go? I have an M1 as well.
I didn't download it but I know my memory limits lol. I've done max 7 or 8 title layers while making an end card for a video and the computer fan was on its last lol @@rowelle

Couple of things:
- there was a FCP version that was bonkers bad, crash-y and slow. Most got fixed, but text rendering (especially with drop shadows) still quite slow.
