The way I screamed when she said Waterloo 😭 my only reason for being here at uw is for the networking opportunities I can get here…..it’s my first one this Saturday and I’m freakin out because I’m genuinely terrified 😭

So interesting how everyone mistake social anxiety for being an introvert. Introvert is just that you loose social battery faster. Even extroverts can be shy from events like this. Im an introvert, but I can still be outgoing. People should just name it how to start networking when you are nervous. Everyone can be nervous with facing something new. Thank you for the tips though, going to my first netwoking event, but also alone😮💨

can we get an update if waterloo cs is still worth it? currently an Ontario gr 12 student with a 99 avg and if I get in I want to know if waterloo cs or cs in general in still worth it especially due to the current discussions surrounding a recession/tech layoffs. mostly in the long term i will want to try and start my own business but i think a key step would be getting some solid work experience first so I'm really not sure if I'd be able to get that. also i want to move to the us one day, i don't want to stay in canada.
How can you be introvert but know all these tricks at the same time ? Supposedly your shyness stops you from talking to people and finding out all these tips by yourself...
