U Bolt Eliminator Kit

This u-bolt eliminator kit is intended for the hard-core off road guy that wants the most clearance possible under their axles. This kit is designed to be used with a standard 5/8" grade 8 bolt (length is determined by the height of your spring pack). The top u-bolt plate is made from 3/8" thick steel and the bottom plate is made from 1/4" steel. Bolts are not included. This kit is designed to work with a 2.5" wide spring.

with a chevy 63 swap or another 2.5 Ince wide leaf, absolutely

For the cost why not include the bolts?

Hey there! We don’t include the bolts because we do not know the thickness of the end user’s leaf pack. Depending on how thick that is, you will need a longer or shorter bolt.

How exactly does this improve vs the conventional U bolt design? Are U bolts that much in the way?

they bend and stretch and wear out easily. you can use nice grade 8 bolts in this and not have to worry about that
