There are no U-bolts, this kit comes with 8 - 4" x 5/8" grade 8 bolts that are threaded into the wings made from 1/2" plate so you have no fear of thread retention. Test them on your springs, then cut them to length. 90FT/lbs of Torque is recommended, dab with a little Loctite and call it good. The leaf spring top plates are the same heavy duty 3/8" thick ones we use with all of our other kits.
These are for spring over applications.

Im not talkins shit about this set up ! But my friend has been rocking this set up for 5 + years we made it , it is only storng as ur axle housing it does rip off , u bolts are a safer method of mounting a axle to spring! Good looking products though!

I recoomend a weld on u strap to wrap under housing welding to front & rear of the perch it self , thats what we did after ripping one off !

My way is much better , I wire my springs and axle with heavy duty coat hanger and they are pretty much free

Have you Rolls of gorilla tape and zip ties? It gives more flex when on the rocks😂
