You are a single mom😢 Career over family? I'd like to know what constitutes a good reason to divorce. Maybe realizing how us women contribute to the destruction of a marriage, because it is ALWAYS the fault of BOTH. We let ourselves go, we don't put intamacy as a priority, God first, Spouse Second, and Extended family next ... then everyone else. Its in our culture now to not want to work HARD at something and always be the victim. If the single mom was never married, a good organization would be connecting good men to these single moms to be married and have a father for your children.
This is a very destructive and bizarre comment. My husband was unfaithful and divorced me. There is never a justification for adultery. Your comment places blame on innocent victims and is very unloving and unhelpful. I pray you can encounter Christ and find empathy in your heart for others.
Maybe you should do some research before you make such judgemental comments. If you really want to help single moms, why don't you start donating to Hearts for Mom or Ms. Johnston's ministry ❤
Why are some husbands unfaithful? Usually it's because they are not getting enough intamacy with their spouse because the spouse is never home, tired or available for intimacy. Men are happy with sex and food. They will do anything for their spouse if they have this. Most men are not high maintenance. If pornography, alcohol or drugs, physical abuae, are the issues in a marriage, than there should be Christian support groups to help that man with his issues and help keep the family together. I help by connecting single moms (not previously married in the Catholic Church) with God-fearing men so that children can have a dad and a family...which is more important than a 6- figure single mom.
